Each piece is cut into a 6 mm MDF board and faced with a 1.2 mm shiny acrylic layer — 7 mm in total — so the script stands forward of the board rather than printed onto it.

    Arrange every piece exactly as it should read on the wall, with even gaps, then measure the total width and the distance to each fixing.

  2. Mark one shared line

    Pencil a single level line on the wall and put every fixing on it. That is what keeps the pieces reading as one composition.

  3. Tape the outline, then work across

    Painter's tape to the full outline lets you check the whole arrangement before drilling. Hang from one end and work across, checking each piece against the line.
