Namen der Ahlul Bayt: Islamische Wandkunst aus Holz/Acryl

The term 'Ahlul Bayt' refers to the 'People of the House' of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This piece traditionally honors the core members: the Prophet himself, Ali, Fatima, Hassan, and Hussain. According to sources (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:33), this group is purified and held in the highest spiritual regard by all Muslims.

Displaying the names of the Ahlul Bayt is entirely permissible and is a common practice to show love and 'Mawadda' (affection) for the Prophet's kin. Scholars at the Islamic Bulletin emphasize that while we do not depict their physical likeness, honoring their names in calligraphy is a beautiful way to remember their legacy and sacrifices.

In Islamic tradition, the Ahlul Bayt are compared to 'Noah's Ark'—whoever follows them is safe. Displaying their names serves as a constant reminder of the virtues of patience, bravery, and devotion. It creates an atmosphere of 'Barakah' (divine blessing) and reminds the household to strive for the character excellence they exemplified.

The most respectful placement is on a high wall in a clean, prominent area like the living room or a dedicated prayer space. You should avoid hanging it in bathrooms or low-traffic areas where it might be neglected. Elevating the art physically reflects the spiritual elevation and honor we hold for the family of the Prophet.

Our Ahlul Bayt wood art is handcrafted in Turkey using high-density, premium MDF that resists warping. Unlike cheap mass-produced items, our pieces are cut with precision lasers to ensure every letter of the sacred names is sharp and elegant, and the black is coloured-through MDF rather than paint, so there is no coat to chip or peel.

Yes, but we recommend hanging the art high enough to remain out of reach. This prevents accidental damage and ensures the sacred names are not touched by unwashed hands or animals. This practice aligns with the Islamic etiquette of preserving the sanctity of names associated with the Prophet and his family.

Absolutely. Every design is vetted by experts to ensure the script follows traditional calligraphy rules. We prioritize accuracy in every 'Nuqta' (dot) and 'Haraka' (vowel mark), ensuring that the names of the Ahlul Bayt are presented with the linguistic and spiritual integrity they deserve.

Treat the art with the same respect you would give a Mushaf. Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using wet cloths or cleaning chemicals that could penetrate the wood or dull the finish. Many customers find that cleaning their Islamic art becomes a small, mindful act of devotion.

Wood art has a production time of 2-3 days because the finishing process is more direct. Metal art requires a multi-stage electro-coating process that takes 5-6 days. Both are produced in our Turkish workshop, ensuring that even our faster-shipped wooden pieces meet our strict 'Excellence in Craft' standards.

You can explain that these names represent the family of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who are symbols of love, justice, and spiritual purity in Islam. It is a wonderful conversation starter about the history of the faith and the universal values of family and devotion that the Ahlul Bayt represent.
