Sadaqallah ul Azeem Wall Art is an Islamic decor piece that elegantly represents a phrase commonly recited by Muslims, especially after reading the Holy Quran.

The phrase "Sadaqallahul Azeem" translates to "Allah, the Almighty has spoken the truth." This expression signifies the strong belief in the truthfulness and fulfillment of Allah's revelations – every word in the Quran. The Islamic wall art, offering spiritual depth and aesthetic beauty, serves as a beautiful reflection of this belief in prayer rooms or Islamic art collections.

Sadaqallahul Azeem

The words said on closing the Qur’an

Sadaq Allahul Azeem cut from 1.5 mm metal, in matte or shiny finishes. Two lengths, 69 and 99 cm, in black, silver, gold or copper.

Three decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Two lengths, 69 or 99 cm wide, drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Finish

Seven finishes — black, four mattes and two shiny.

  3. Hanging

Hanging tools are on the back.

What is written on it

What it says

Allah, the Almighty, has spoken the truth — said on finishing a recitation. Which is why this one belongs where the Qur’an is actually read.

صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

“Allah, the Almighty has spoken the truth.”

Sadaq Allahul Azeem

Size & scale

Measured against a sofa, not a photograph

Both sizes are around four times wider than they are tall, so the constraint is the clear run of wall. They are drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high XL · 99 × 24 cm 39 × 9.4 in L · 69 × 17 cm 27.2 × 6.7 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
L27.2 × 6.7″69 × 17 cmAbove a reading chair, a shelf, or a prayer corner
XL39 × 9.4″99 × 24 cmA wider wall above a sideboard or a bookcase run

Match it to the furniture, not the wall. A low horizontal piece looks right when it spans roughly two thirds of whatever sits beneath it. Run painter's tape to the full width first and look at it from where you normally sit.

What it is made of

Material

Finishing

Craft

The depth is structural, not printed

The letterforms are cut clean through 1.5 mm metal, so the wall color shows between them and becomes part of the piece.

  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • Cut edges left clean through the fine strokes of the script
  • The weight and the edge of real metal rather than a printed panel

Why the cut matters. Because the script is cut out of the sheet rather than printed onto it, the wall behind becomes part of the artwork and the piece changes with the light in the room through the day.

Finishes

The finishes

Seven finishes on the same cut band. The two shiny ones carry a reflection with depth; black and the mattes stay flat and graphic.

Sadaqallahul Azeem metal wall art in black

Black

The sharpest contrast of the set against a pale wall, and the one that reads most clearly from across a room.

Sadaqallahul Azeem metal wall art in matte gold

Matte Gold

Warmth without shine, which suits a room lit mostly by lamps rather than daylight.

Sadaqallahul Azeem metal wall art in matte silver

Matte Silver

Cool and quiet, and the easiest to place in a room that already has chrome or glass in it.

Sadaqallahul Azeem metal wall art in matte copper

Matte Copper

The warmest of the matte finishes, and the one that reads best against green, clay or deep neutral walls.

Sadaqallahul Azeem metal wall art in shiny gold

Shiny Gold

The most reflective of the set and the one most often chosen for a main living-room wall.

Sadaqallahul Azeem metal wall art in shiny silver

Shiny Silver

Throws light back into the room, so it lifts a wall that sits away from a window.

Sadaqallahul Azeem metal wall art in shiny copper

Shiny Copper

Warmer than the gold and less common, and worth it if the room already has brass or wood tones.

Hanging it

One level line does the whole job

A narrow band shows a tilt more than a deep piece does, so mark the line rather than judging it by eye.

  1. Measure to the fixing first

Set it face up and measure from the left edge to each fixing point, so the wall marks come from the piece rather than from guesswork.

  2. Pencil one level line

A low, wide piece shows every degree of tilt, so mark a light horizontal line and put every fixing on it.

  3. Tape the width, then hang

Painter's tape to the full width lets you check the position from across the room before drilling.

Where it goes

Where it goes

The reading corner

The wall you face when the Qur’an is open — the one place these words are actually said.

Above a bookcase or a shelf

A long, low piece spans a run of shelving without crowding the ceiling.

A prayer room

Read on the way out, at the end rather than the beginning.

Against the alternatives

This pieceCommonly sold alternatives
MaterialCut metalPrinted canvas, acrylic sheet, or thin laser-cut board
FinishesSeven to choose fromUsually one fixed color
SizesTwo, up to 99 cm wideOften a single fixed size
The textThe full phrase, in one bandOften an excerpt rather than the whole text

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth along the length of the script. Nothing abrasive.

No cleaners

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will mark a finished metal surface. A barely damp cloth, dried at once, is enough.

Away from damp

An indoor piece. Keep it off bathroom walls and away from a kitchen extractor.

Choose your size and finish

Two sizes, and the finish is the rest of the decision. Tape the width on the wall first — it is the only measurement that matters.
