Surah Al-Fath 1

"Indeed, We have given you a clear victory"

Inna fatahna laka fathan mubina cut from steel and powder coated, standing 2 cm clear of the wall on its screws. Two sizes, 30 × 67 cm or 44 × 99 cm.

Three decisions before it ships

  1. Size

    Two sizes — 30 × 67 cm or 44 × 99 cm — drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Finish

Four finishes — black, matte gold, matte silver or matte copper, all electrostatic powder coated.

  3. Hanging

One or two nails through the bracket on the back, and the screws set the 2 cm standoff for you.

What is written on it

The verse read as an opening

The opening of Al-Fath — a clear victory — which is why this one is so often given for a new home or a new start.

إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبْيْنًا

Inna fatahna laka fathan mubina.

“Indeed, We have granted you a clear conquest.”

Surah Al-Fath 48:1

Size & scale

A vertical piece is judged on its drop

Both sizes are more than twice as tall as they are wide, so this suits the narrow wall a horizontal piece never fits. Drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high L · 44 × 99 cm 17.3 × 39 in M · 30 × 67 cm 11.8 × 26.4 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
M11.8 × 26.4″30 × 67 cmBeside the front door, a landing, or a narrow hallway
L17.3 × 39″44 × 99 cmA main living-room wall — the size most chosen

Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest.

Craft

Powder coated after cutting

Cut from steel and then powder coated, so the finish is even on every inside edge of the script. Screws hold it 2 cm proud, which is where the shadow comes from.

  • Cut steel, powder coated after cutting
  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • Electrostatic powder coating, baked on for a hard, even surface
  • No odour and no harmful substances

A coating that is baked, not sprayed. Powder is applied electrostatically and then cured, which gives a harder and more even surface than a sprayed paint and holds its color without yellowing.

Finishes

The finishes

Four powder-coated finishes, baked rather than sprayed: harder than a painted surface and even across every cut edge.

Surah Al-Fath verse 1 metal wall art in black

Black

The sharpest contrast of the set against a pale wall, and the one that reads most clearly from across a room.

Surah Al-Fath verse 1 metal wall art in matte gold

Matte Gold

Powder coated. Warmth without shine, which suits a room lit mostly by lamps rather than daylight.

Surah Al-Fath verse 1 metal wall art in matte silver

Matte Silver

Powder coated. Cool and quiet, and the easiest to place in a room that already has chrome or glass in it.

Surah Al-Fath verse 1 metal wall art in matte copper

Matte Copper

Powder coated. The warmest of the matte finishes, and the one that reads best against green, clay or deep neutral walls.

Hanging it

One center line does the whole job

A tall piece is read from its middle, not its top edge. Mark the center about 150 cm from the floor and hang to that.

  1. Mark the center, not the top

Pencil a point about 150 cm up from the floor. On a tall, narrow piece a center that sits right forgives a top edge that does not.

  2. Tape the outline first

Painter's tape to the full width and height lets you check the position from across the room before you make a hole.

  3. Set one nail and hang

One nail carries it through the bracket on the back. Hook it on, level it by eye, then walk to the far side of the room to confirm.

  • Screws set the standoff, so the depth is built into the mounting
  • Moisture and damp resistant once mounted
  • Ships ready to hang; no frame, glass or backing board to fit
  • Packed with corner protection for transit

Where it goes

The walls it was sized for

By the front door

The wall you pass on the way in and out, which is where a dua about entering and leaving belongs.

Above a console

A long, low piece spans a hallway console without crowding the ceiling above it.

Dining and living walls

It carries a wide wall on its own, and leaves the room feeling open because the wall reads through the script.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth along the length of the script. A baked powder coat is harder than sprayed paint and takes dusting well.

No solvents

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will dull a matte surface. If a mark will not lift dry, use a barely damp cloth and dry it at once.

Damp resistant

The powder coat handles humidity better than a painted finish. Give it an indoor wall away from a bathroom or a kitchen extractor.

Choose your size and finish

Two sizes, and the finish is the rest of the decision. Tape the outline on the wall first — it is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

This verse was revealed after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. At the time, many companions felt discouraged by the treaty's terms. However, Allah revealed this verse to declare that the peace achieved was actually a 'Clear Victory.' It teaches us that what looks like a compromise or a delay in our plans may actually be the greatest victory Allah has orchestrated for us.

Displaying Verse 1 of Surah Al-Fath serves as a constant reminder of Divine support. It is a verse of optimism and breakthrough. In a home or office, it encourages a mindset of resilience and trust in Allah’s timing, signifying that even through trials, a 'Clear Victory' is being prepared for the believer.

Because it is a statement of triumph and opening, this piece is highly effective in home offices, studies, or entryways. Placing it where it is seen at the start of a workday or upon entering the home reinforces the feeling of progress, success, and the opening of new opportunities (Fath).

Our Al-Fath designs often utilize 'Thuluth' or 'Jali Diwani' script, known for their majestic and flowing proportions. The composition is balanced to highlight the word 'Fath' (Victory), creating a visual focal point that is both spiritually commanding and artistically sophisticated.

We employ an intricate multi-layered 3D technique that gives the calligraphy physical depth. This allows the Arabic letters to interact with your room’s lighting; as the light shifts, the art casts soft shadows that give the declaration of victory a prominent and 'living' presence on your wall.

The piece is treated with high-luster, specialized coatings—such as brushed gold, polished silver, or deep matte black. These finishes are anti-tarnish and moisture-resistant, ensuring that the regal appearance of the verse remains pristine and vibrant for decades without fading or wear.

To preserve the premium textures and sharp edges of the 3D calligraphy, a simple wipe with a dry, soft microfiber cloth is sufficient. Avoiding chemical cleaners or moisture ensures that the specialized finish stays vivid and clear for the lifetime of the piece.

Gifting Surah Al-Fath 1 is a gesture of celebrating someone’s success while acknowledging its Divine source. It is a prestigious choice for business openings, promotions, graduations, or any major breakthrough, offering the recipient a permanent reminder that their success is a 'Clear Victory' from Allah.

Yes. Each design features an integrated, hidden hanging system on the reverse side. This allows the piece to sit securely against the wall with a professional 'floating' look, keeping the focus entirely on the sacred calligraphy without visible or distracting hardware.

Our master designers in Turkey meticulously verify every vowel and 'harakat' (diacritical mark) to ensure 100% calligraphic accuracy. We bridge centuries of heritage with modern production standards to deliver a piece that is as spiritually sound as it is artistically superior.

The screws in the metal wall art are for the hanging bracket on the back and for the blind feet to provide a 3D view. Never attempt to remove them.
