Surah Ar-Rahman, verse 78

Blessed be the name of your Lord

Tabarakasmu Rabbika dhil jalali wal ikram set in acrylic over 4 mm mirror tempered glass, in black or white with gold or black calligraphy. Three sizes, 80 to 110 cm wide.

Three decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Three lengths, 80, 90 or 110 cm wide, drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Finish

Black or white mirror glass, with the calligraphy in gold or black.

  3. Hanging

A metal hanging part is fitted to the back and one nail carries it. It ships ready to hang.

What is written on it

The verse that closes the surah

Blessed be the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor — the last verse of Ar-Rahman, and the one people take as its summary.

تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

“Blessed be the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.”

Surah Ar-Rahman 55:78

Size & scale

Measured against a sofa, not a photograph

All three are more than twice as wide as they are tall, so the constraint is the clear run of wall. They are drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high XL · 110 × 50 cm 43.3 × 19.7 in L · 90 × 33 cm 35.4 × 13 in M · 80 × 33 cm 31.5 × 13 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
M31.5 × 13″80 × 33 cmAbove a console or a two-seat sofa
L35.4 × 13″90 × 33 cmAbove a three-seat sofa or a sideboard — the size most chosen
XL43.3 × 19.7″110 × 50 cmA living-room feature wall, read from across the room

Match it to the furniture, not the wall. A low horizontal piece looks right when it spans roughly two thirds of whatever sits beneath it. Run painter's tape to the full width first and look at it from where you normally sit.

Craft

Acrylic on glass, not printed on it

The calligraphy is cut from acrylic and laid onto the glass, so it stands proud of the surface rather than being printed into it. The glass is 4 mm and produced as one piece.

  • Acrylic calligraphy standing proud of the glass
  • Calligraphy in acrylic, layered onto the painted glass rather than printed on it
  • Tempered glass at 4 mm, produced as a single piece
  • A metal hanging part fitted to the back, so nothing shows on the face

On tempered glass. Tempered glass is heat-treated after cutting, which is what lets a single 4 mm sheet hang from one nail without a frame around it. The color is painted behind the surface you touch, so what you clean is glass.

Hanging it

One nail, and one level line

Glass wants the hanger measured rather than guessed, and it wants carrying by the edges. Both take a minute.

  1. Lay it face down and find the hanger

Set it on a towel, face down, and measure from the top edge to the metal hanging part. That one number is the whole job.

  2. Pencil one level line

Mark a light horizontal line at hanger height, centered on the furniture below rather than on the wall as a whole.

  3. One nail, then lift by the edges

Set a single nail on the line. Carry the panel by its edges — never by the calligraphy — and hook it on.

  • Mounting bracket already fitted to the back
  • Ships ready to hang; no frame, glass or backing board to fit
  • Packed with corner protection for transit

Where it goes

Where it goes

Above the sofa

The wall a wide glass panel was made for, spanning roughly two thirds of the seat beneath it.

Dining and console walls

A long, low panel sits naturally over a sideboard, and glass takes the light a matte piece cannot.

An entry or hallway

A mirrored ground throws light back down a corridor, which is what makes a narrow space read wider.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth on the glass face. Nothing abrasive, and nothing on the acrylic calligraphy.

No ammonia or alcohol

Household glass cleaner attacks both the paint behind the glass and the acrylic on it. A barely damp cloth, dried at once, is enough.

Lift it by the edges

An 4 mm sheet is heavy for its size and the calligraphy stands proud of the face. Carry it by the edges, never by the script.

Choose your size and finish

Three sizes, and the finish is the rest of the decision. Tape the width on the wall first — it is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a comprehensive title for Allah. 'Al-Jalal' refers to His absolute Majesty, Power, and Greatness—qualities that inspire awe and reverence. 'Al-Ikram' refers to His Generosity, Honor, and Kindness—qualities that inspire love and hope. Together, they balance the believer's heart between 'Khawf' (fear/awe) and 'Raja' (hope).

After listing dozens of earthly and heavenly blessings, the chapter concludes by shifting the focus from the 'Gifts' to the 'Giver.' It reminds us that while the blessings are beautiful, the Source—the Name of your Lord—is the ultimate sanctuary and the only thing that is truly 'Tabaraka' (Ever-Blessed/Increasing in Goodness).

It acts as a 'Visual Tasbih.' Because Surah Ar-Rahman is often recited for peace and healing, having its final seal on the wall creates a sense of completion and Divine protection. It serves as a reminder to balance our lives with both respect for Allah's laws (Majesty) and gratitude for His gifts (Honor).

The artwork uses a high-end mixed-media technique. The base is premium tempered glass, providing a sleek, reflective background. The calligraphy is then precision-cut from mirrored acrylic (plexiglass) and hand-mounted onto the glass. This creates a literal 3D layer that catches the light and reflects the room, giving the script a luminous, living quality.

We use 4mm thick tempered glass, which is approximately five times stronger than standard glass. It is highly resistant to impact and scratches. If it were ever to break, it is designed to crumble into small, blunt granules rather than sharp shards, making it a safe, professional-grade choice for homes with children.

No. We use industrial-strength, transparent bonding agents specifically formulated for glass-to-acrylic adhesion. This bond is resistant to temperature changes and humidity, ensuring that the 3D script remains perfectly aligned and securely attached for the life of the piece.

Maintenance is simple but requires a gentle approach. Use a soft microfiber cloth and a standard glass cleaner. Avoid spraying directly onto the art; instead, spray the cloth and gently wipe the glass areas, then lightly dab the acrylic letters. This prevents streaks and protects the polished mirror finish of the acrylic.

Surah Ar-Rahman is traditionally associated with beauty and Divine favor. Gifting the final verse is a way of wishing the new couple a life filled with both majesty (strength) and honor (love). The modern, high-gloss glass and mirror-effect acrylic make it a sophisticated gift that stands out as a true artisan statement.

No. The design features a specialized, hidden hanging system on the reverse side. This allows the art to sit slightly off the wall, creating a 'floating' effect. All brackets and screws remain completely invisible, ensuring the visual focus stays 100% on the stunning calligraphy.

Our master designers in Turkey verify every 'harakat' (vowel mark) against the Uthmani script to ensure 100% theological accuracy. Because the letters are laser-cut from acrylic, the precision is absolute, ensuring that every curve and point of the script is both artistically beautiful and spiritually correct.

Tempered glass is moisture-resistant, but the artwork or ink used may not be waterproof. It's best to keep the art indoors and away from direct exposure to rain or high humidity. If used in bathrooms, ensure it's in a well-ventilated area and securely mounted.

While tempered glass itself resists UV damage, the printed artwork may gradually fade if exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. For longevity, it's recommended to place your wall art away from harsh, direct sunlight or use UV-protective window films.

Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth (not directly onto the glass) and gently wipe the surface. Avoid abrasive materials or strong chemicals, as they may scratch the glass or damage the artwork's finish.

Yes, tempered glass is significantly stronger and safer than regular glass. It is heat-resistant and designed to shatter into small, less dangerous pieces if broken. This makes it safe for use in various rooms, including kitchens and even children's rooms—though proper installation is essential.
