The Farewell Sermon

Printed onto a tall sheet of tempered glass

The Farewell Sermon printed onto tempered glass. Two sizes, 35 × 50 up to 55 × 70 cm.

Two decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Two sizes, 35 × 50 up to 55 × 70 cm, drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Hanging

A hanging part is fitted to the back and one nail carries it. It ships ready to hang.

Size & scale

Two sizes, 35 × 50 up to 55 × 70 cm

The ladder runs from 35 × 50 cm up to 55 × 70 cm, so the constraint is the clear height above the furniture. Both are drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high XL · 55 × 70 cm 21.7 × 27.6 in L · 35 × 50 cm 13.8 × 19.7 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
L13.8 × 19.7″35 × 50 cmA narrow wall beside a door, or a prayer corner
XL21.7 × 27.6″55 × 70 cmA feature wall, or a stairwell

Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest.

Craft

Printed onto the glass, under the surface you touch

The artwork is printed directly onto the tempered glass, which is what lets it hold detail a cut piece cannot. The glass is produced as one piece.

  • The artwork printed onto the glass itself
  • The artwork printed directly onto the tempered glass, so it holds detail a cut piece cannot
  • Tempered glass, produced as a single piece
  • A hanging attachment fitted to the back, so nothing shows on the face

On printed tempered glass. The image is printed onto the glass and the glass is heat-treated, which is what lets a single sheet hang from one nail without a frame around it. The print sits under the surface you touch, so what you clean is glass.

Hanging it

One nail, and one level line

Glass wants the hanger measured rather than guessed, and it wants carrying by the edges. Both take a minute.

  1. Lay it face down and find the hanger

Set it on a towel, face down, and measure from the top edge to the metal hanging part. That one number is the whole job.

  2. Pencil one level line

Mark a light horizontal line at hanger height, centered on the furniture below rather than on the wall as a whole.

  3. One nail, then lift by the edges

Set a single nail on the line. Carry the panel by its edges — never by the calligraphy — and hook it on.

  • Mounting bracket already fitted to the back
  • Ships ready to hang; no frame, glass or backing board to fit
  • Packed with corner protection for transit

Where it goes

Where it goes

The prayer corner

The wall you face when you lay out the mat, where a single piece is read rather than looked at.

Above a console or a sideboard

It sits over a run of furniture as one object, without needing a second piece to balance it.

A hallway or a study wall

One piece suits the wall you pass or sit facing, where a set would be too much.

Against the alternatives

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth on the glass face. Nothing abrasive.

No ammonia or alcohol

Household glass cleaner attacks the print behind the glass. A barely damp cloth, dried at once, is enough.

Lift it by the edges

Glass is heavy for its size. Carry it by the edges rather than by the face.

Choose your size and finish

Two sizes, one construction. Tape the outline on the wall before you choose — the jump from 35 × 50 to 55 × 70 is larger than it reads on a screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

The sermon addresses universal values: the sanctity of life and property, the abolition of usury (Riba), the rights of women, and the absolute rejection of racism. The Prophet (PBUH) famously stated, 'An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab.' Having these words visible serves as a constant moral compass for the household.

This specific collection usually features a high-quality English translation alongside the Arabic script, or is offered as a full English text piece. This ensures that the profound message is accessible to every family member and guest, fostering 'Dawah' (invitation to knowledge) and reflection within the home.

We primarily offer this as a premium canvas or high-definition glass piece. For canvas, we use acid-free, museum-grade materials with UV-resistant inks that prevent fading for decades. For glass, we use tempered, shatter-resistant glass with the text printed on the back to ensure a mirror-like finish that is easy to clean without ever damaging the script.

Because of its length and educational nature, the living room or a formal study/library is the most appropriate location. It should be hung at eye level to allow people to stand and read the text comfortably. Following 'Adab' (etiquette), ensure it is in a clean, prominent space where it can be honored as the final guidance of the Messenger (PBUH).

Accuracy is our 'Amanah' (trust). We use the most authentic narrations found in 'Sahih' collections. Our design team in Turkey cross-references the text with reputable scholarly translations to ensure that the nuances of the Prophet’s final commands are preserved accurately in both the Arabic and English versions.

Our Standard finishes provide a beautiful, professional look suitable for any home. The Premium versions—especially in our glass or metal-framed collections—feature enhanced depth, high-gloss protective coatings, and more robust mounting systems. Both are handcrafted in Turkey and designed to last as spiritual heirlooms.

We use industrial-grade, UV-protected pigments in our Turkish workshop. Unlike mass-produced prints that turn yellow or blue over time, our Farewell Sermon art is specifically engineered to resist sunlight degradation. However, to maximize the lifespan of any fine art, we recommend avoiding constant, direct noon-day sun exposure.

For canvas, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a feather duster to remove surface dust. Never use water or chemicals. For glass art, you can use a very slightly damp cloth on the front surface only. Handling the piece with 'Wudu' (ablution) is a beautiful way to show respect for the sacred words during maintenance.

It is perhaps the most prestigious gift you can give. For a graduate or a professional, it serves as a reminder of ethical leadership and justice. In Islamic culture, gifting this sermon is seen as 'Sadaqah Jariyah' (continuous charity), as the wisdom it imparts continues to benefit the recipient and their guests for years.

Due to the complexity of printing and framing such a detailed text, the delivery takes around 4-7 business days. With over 6000+ positive reviews, our logistics ensure your piece arrives safely and ready to be the centerpiece of your home.

Tempered glass is moisture-resistant, but the artwork or ink used may not be waterproof. It's best to keep the art indoors and away from direct exposure to rain or high humidity. If used in bathrooms, ensure it's in a well-ventilated area and securely mounted.

While tempered glass itself resists UV damage, the printed artwork may gradually fade if exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. For longevity, it's recommended to place your wall art away from harsh, direct sunlight or use UV-protective window films.

Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth (not directly onto the glass) and gently wipe the surface. Avoid abrasive materials or strong chemicals, as they may scratch the glass or damage the artwork's finish.

Yes, tempered glass is significantly stronger and safer than regular glass. It is heat-resistant and designed to shatter into small, less dangerous pieces if broken. This makes it safe for use in various rooms, including kitchens and even children's rooms—though proper installation is essential.
