Surah Al-Baqarah 152

"Remember Me and I will remember you"

Fadhkuruni adhkurkum wa-shkuru li cut from steel and powder painted, standing 2 cm clear of the wall. Two lengths, 69 or 99 cm.

Three decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Two lengths — 69 or 99 cm — drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Finish

Four finishes — black, matte gold, matte silver or matte copper.

  3. Hanging

It arrives ready to hang with the bracket fitted, and the screws set the 2 cm standoff.

What is written on it

The exchange the verse describes

Remember Me and I will remember you; be grateful to Me and do not deny Me. Two instructions and a promise, in one line.

فَٱذْكُرُونِىٓ أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ لِى وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ

“Therefore remember Me (by praying, glorifying, etc.). I will remember you, and be grateful to Me (for My countless Favours on you) and never be ungrateful to Me.”

Surah Al-Baqarah 2:152

Size & scale

A long line is judged against the furniture

Both lengths are more than four times wider than they are tall, so these sit above a console, a desk or a doorway. Drawn below at true scale over a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high L · 99 × 22 cm 39 × 8.7 in M · 69 × 15 cm 27.2 × 5.9 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
M27.2 × 5.9″69 × 15 cmAbove a desk, a doorway, or a narrow console
L39 × 8.7″99 × 22 cmAbove a two- or three-seat sofa — the length most chosen

Match it to the furniture, not the wall. A low horizontal piece looks right when it spans roughly two thirds of whatever sits beneath it. Run painter's tape to the full width first and look at it from where you normally sit.

Craft

Powder painted after cutting

Cut from steel and powder painted afterwards, so the finish is even on every inside edge. The screws at the back hold it 2 cm off the wall, which is where the shadow comes from.

  • Cut steel, powder painted after cutting
  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • Electrostatic powder coating, baked on for a hard, even surface
  • No odour and no harmful substances

A coating that is baked, not sprayed. Powder is applied electrostatically and then cured, which gives a harder and more even surface than a sprayed paint and holds its color without yellowing.

Finishes

The finishes

Four matte finishes. Black reads hardest against a pale wall; gold, silver and copper each pick up the light differently.

Surah Baqarah verse 152 metal wall art in black

Black

The sharpest contrast of the set against a pale wall, and the one that reads most clearly from across a room.

Surah Baqarah verse 152 metal wall art in matte copper

Matte Copper

Powder coated. The warmest of the matte finishes, and the one that reads best against green, clay or deep neutral walls.

Surah Baqarah verse 152 metal wall art in matte gold

Matte Gold

Powder coated. Warmth without shine, which suits a room lit mostly by lamps rather than daylight.

Surah Baqarah verse 152 metal wall art in matte silver

Matte Silver

Powder coated. Cool and quiet, and the easiest to place in a room that already has chrome or glass in it.

Hanging it

One level line does the whole job

A long horizontal shows every degree of tilt, so mark the line rather than judging it by eye.

  1. Measure to the fixing first

Set it face up and measure from the left edge to each fixing point, so the wall marks come from the piece rather than from guesswork.

  2. Pencil one level line

A low, wide piece shows every degree of tilt, so mark a light horizontal line and put every fixing on it.

  3. Tape the width, then hang

Painter's tape to the full width lets you check the position from across the room before drilling.

  • Screws set the standoff, so the depth is built into the mounting
  • Assembly tools included
  • Packed with corner protection for transit

Where it goes

The walls it was sized for

Above the sofa

The wall this was designed for, spanning roughly two thirds of the seat beneath it.

Dining and console walls

A long, low piece sits naturally over a sideboard or a dining table, where a tall piece would crowd the ceiling.

Entryway and hallway

Cut work keeps a corridor from feeling closed in, because the wall reads through the letterforms.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth along the length of the script. A baked powder coat is harder than sprayed paint and takes dusting well.

No solvents

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will dull a matte surface. If a mark will not lift dry, use a barely damp cloth and dry it at once.

Damp resistant

The powder coat handles humidity better than a painted finish. Give it an indoor wall away from a bathroom or a kitchen extractor.

Choose your size and finish

Two sizes, and the finish is the rest of the decision. Tape the width on the wall first — it is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Scholars explain that when we remember Allah through prayer or praise, His 'remembrance' of us manifests as Divine grace, protection, and mention among the angels. It is a staggering thought: the Lord of the Worlds mentions your name in the highest assembly simply because you turned your heart toward Him.

Dhikr and Shukr are two sides of the same coin. Remembrance brings awareness of Allah’s presence, which naturally leads to recognizing His favors. By pairing them, the verse teaches that the most complete form of faith is one that acknowledges God constantly and responds to His blessings with active gratitude.

It serves as a 'Visual Covenant.' Seeing this verse daily reminds the family that they are never alone or forgotten. It fosters an environment of 'Haya' (spiritual modesty) and peace, encouraging everyone to keep their tongues moist with remembrance and their hearts open to gratitude.

Our designs for this verse often utilize a bold, majestic 'Thuluth' script. The composition is frequently balanced to give visual weight to 'Fadhkuruni' (Remember Me) and 'Adhkurkum' (I will remember you), creating a beautiful symmetry that mirrors the reciprocal nature of the promise.

We use a precision process on high-grade material, mounting the art to sit approximately 1.5 cm away from the wall. This 'floating' effect creates physical depth; as your room's lighting shifts throughout the day, the calligraphy casts soft shadows that give the sacred words a tangible, sculptural presence.

The piece is treated with high-luster, industrial-grade powder coatings or acrylic overlay—available in brushed gold, polished silver, or matte black. These finishes are anti-tarnish, moisture-resistant, and UV-protected, ensuring the luster remains vibrant for decades without fading or wear.

Maintenance is intentionally effortless. A simple dusting with a dry, soft microfiber cloth once a month is all that is required. We recommend avoiding wet wipes or chemical cleaners to preserve the integrity of the specialized protective layer and keep the finish looking 'gallery-new.'

Gifting the 'Verse of Remembrance' is a gesture of wishing a family a lifetime of Divine presence. It is a prestigious choice because it offers the new household a permanent source of spiritual grounding, reminding them that their gratitude is the key to further blessings in their new life.

Yes. Each design features an integrated hanging system on the reverse. This allows the piece to be mounted securely with a single nail or screw, sitting flush yet 'floating' off the wall. The hardware remains almost invisible except for the screw spacers, ensuring the visual focus stays entirely on the calligraphy.

Our master designers in Turkey meticulously verify every 'harakat' (vowel mark) to ensure 100% theological and calligraphic accuracy. We bridge centuries of Ottoman tradition with modern production standards to deliver a piece that is as spiritually sound as it is artistically superior.

The screws in the metal wall art are for the hanging bracket on the back and for the blind feet to provide a 3D view. Never attempt to remove them.

Metal products can be used outdoors, but are not recommended for direct rain, moisture or sunlight.

Yes, it can be done. First, confirm with customer service whether this is possible. If our designer approves, you will receive a custom order payment link.

Our products are made by hand, using labor-intensive techniques. Some minor defects are within the limits, and we indicate this in the listing details. If you detect a defect that exceeds the limits, contact customer service.

It will not darken unless exposed to moisture in normal indoor environments. We do not recommend protecting it from moisture or exposure to rain or direct sunlight outdoors.

We do not recommend any chemical products. You can remove dust with a slightly damp cloth.
