Frequently Bought Together
Ayat al-Kursi · Al-Baqarah 255
The verse of the Throne, cut from steel in two pieces
An inner calligraphic disc and an outer ring, each cut separately and finished by hand, then hung together so the whole verse reads as one circle. The two-part build is what lets the piece stand 1.5 cm off the wall and cast its own shadow.
Three decisions before it ships
Size
Three portrait sizes from 49 × 63 cm to 90 × 115 cm, drawn to scale against a sofa below.
Finish
Six combinations of shiny gold, shiny silver and black — the inner disc and the outer ring are chosen separately.
Hanging
Two pieces, two nails, one shared centre line. The method is spelled out further down; read it before you drill.
What is written on it
Ayat al-Kursi, in full
The complete verse, not an excerpt. The calligraphy runs through the inner disc and continues around the outer ring.
“Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”
Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255
Size & scale
Metal reads smaller on a wall than it does in a photograph
Cut-metal work is open — the wall shows through it — so it occupies less visual weight than a solid canvas of the same dimensions. The three sizes are nested below at true scale, above a three-seat sofa.
Size
Width × height (in)
Width × height (cm)
Best for
L
19.3 × 24.8″
49 × 63 cm
A hallway, a prayer corner, or paired either side of a door
XL
27.6 × 35.4″
70 × 90 cm
Above a console or a two-seat sofa — the size most often chosen
2XL
35.4 × 45.3″
90 × 115 cm
A full feature wall above a three-seat sofa or a dining table
Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, stand back to where you normally sit, and look at it from there. Most people who wish they had gone larger were measuring with their eyes from a metre away.

Finishing
ElectropolishedBrushed, then chemically polished
Craft
Polished by hand, and honest about it
Each piece is cut from sheet steel, brushed along the grain, then brought to its shine through a chemical polishing bath rather than a sprayed coating. That is why the reflection has depth instead of looking like chrome paint.
Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall colour becomes part of the artwork
Mounted 1.5 cm proud of the wall — the shadow shifts through the day
Rear bracket on each part; the piece arrives ready to hang
Shiny gold, shiny silver and matte black, mixed across the two parts
On the shiny finishes. Because the polishing is a hand-run chemical process on real metal, a shiny piece is not flawless — you may find faint variation in the surface up close. It does not show at viewing distance, and it is the trade-off that comes with a polished metal surface rather than a printed one. If you want the most uniform surface, choose a black outer ring.
Finishes
Six combinations from three finishes
The inner disc and the outer ring are specified separately: gold inside with silver outside, silver inside with gold outside, either metal inside with a black ring, or all gold or all silver throughout.
Gold in, silver out
Two metals in one piece. Reads warmest against off-white and cream walls.
Metal in, black out
The black ring frames the calligraphy and holds the most uniform surface.
All one metal
Full gold or full silver, where the piece should read as a single object.
Hanging two pieces
Line them up in one measurement, not two
This is the step people get wrong, and it is worth five minutes. Each part hangs from a single bracket on its back, so the whole job is getting both nails onto one shared centre line.
Lay it on the floor first
Assemble the two parts flat, exactly as they should look on the wall. Measure from the top of the outer ring down to each bracket and write both numbers down.
Draw one vertical centre line
Pencil a light plumb line on the wall. Both nails sit on it, at the two depths you just measured — this is what keeps the disc centred inside the ring.
Hang the outer ring first
Get the ring level, then drop the inner disc onto its nail and adjust. Painter's tape on the wall before you drill lets you check the position without a single hole.
Both parts, packed separately and corner-protected
Mounting bracket already fitted to the back of each part
Assembly tools included — one nail per part is all it takes
Ships ready to hang; no frame, glass or backing board to fit

This beautiful piece came earlier than expected. Just in time before all my Ramadan/Iftar parties. It was packed with so much care.
It’s an aesthetic piece of art which makes my living room look even more beautiful. I decorated my house for Ramadan and this piece is a perfect addition.
Only feedback is, the bottom part doesn’t stay close to the wall. Not sure how to stick it to the wall. In addition, screws on the top can be made smaller and less visible.
Other than that, its perfect Masha’Allah
Mashallah! Just ordered a a week ago. It looks as described and better after putting it on. Everyone should definitely get this beautiful metal piece of wall art, it enhances the look of your house Islamically. I’ve gotten for myself, and always recommend it to my family.
I liked this metal piece, but I was expecting it to be bigger especially for its price. I also did not like how it didn’t sit right on the wall there is a part where it doesn’t sit evenly against the wall. Other than that the quality is nice and it’s a very sturdy piece of work!
Displaying Ayatul Kursi is widely considered permissible and is a virtuous practice for 'Dhikr' (remembrance). Scholars at the Islamic Bulletin suggest that hanging such verses helps transform a living space into a place of reflection. As long as the art is treated with 'Adab' (etiquette)—placed in a clean, elevated position and not near areas of impurity—it is a respected addition to any Muslim home.
Ayatul Kursi is known as the 'Verse of Protection.' Authentic narrations suggest that its recitation or presence serves as a spiritual shield against evil, anxiety, and harm. It describes Allah’s 'Kursi' (Throne) extending over the heavens and the earth, reminding the household that His guardianship is constant and effortless, bringing peace and 'Sakina' to the environment.
The most respectful locations are the living room, foyer, or a dedicated prayer space. Many choose to hang it near the main entrance so it is the first and last thing seen when entering or leaving the home. To maintain proper etiquette, ensure it is hung high on the wall, above shoulder level, and never in bathrooms or areas where it might be treated with low regard.
No, our metal pieces undergo a premium electro-coating process in Turkey. This industrial finish is far superior to standard paint or stainless steel, as it creates a chemical bond that is rust-resistant and durable. Whether you choose Gold, Silver, or Black, the finish will remain vibrant and will not tarnish or peel, even in humid climates.
Accuracy is our highest priority. Every piece is designed following the traditional Uthmani script found. Our expert calligraphers in Turkey meticulously verify every 'Nuqta' (dot) and 'Haraka' (vowel mark) to ensure the sacred text is perfectly preserved. This ensures your wall art is a faithful and religiously sound representation of Allah's word.
Handle the art with the same respect you would show a Mushaf. We recommend being in a state of 'Wudu' (ablution) when touching the sacred text. When cleaning, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently remove dust without using chemicals. If you are moving, wrap the piece in a clean cloth and ensure it never touches the floor during the transition.
With over 6,000 five-star reviews, IWA is a trusted authority in premium Islamic decor. We combine high-end Turkish manufacturing with a deep understanding of religious values. Every piece is a result of centuries-old craftsmanship traditions, ensuring that your Ayatul Kursi is not just a product, but a meaningful spiritual heirloom.
Production speed depends on the material. Either wood or metal, both types are produced in our Turkish workshop and shipped via express delivery to reach you within 3-7 business days.
Yes, it is common and permissible to hang Ayatul Kursi in a bedroom to bring a sense of safety and tranquility. In a child's nursery, it serves as a beautiful introduction to the power of Allah. Ensure it is mounted securely and at a height that remains out of reach of small children to protect both the art and the sanctity of the text.
You can explain that Ayatul Kursi is a 'Hymn of Divine Majesty.' It describes God's eternal nature, His absolute knowledge, and His throne that encompasses the entire universe. It is a verse of peace and protection that reminds Muslims that God never grows tired of watching over His creation, reflecting a universal message of hope and divine care.
The screws in the metal wall art are for the hanging bracket on the back and for the blind feet to provide a 3D view. Never attempt to remove them.
