Three decisions before it ships

  1. What it is

A metal body, 30 cm tall, between a solid oak base 14 cm across and a 10 cm oak disc at the top. The Basmala squared into Kufic, cut in the metal.

  2. Size

One size, 14 cm wide and 34 cm high.

  3. In use

A candle holder for the table: light it for the meal, put it out when you leave the room.

How big is it?

14 cm wide, 34 cm tall. It is drawn below beside a coffee mug at the same scale.

How it is made

The Basmala squared into Kufic, cut in the metal.

  • A 2 mm metal body, cut, standing 30 cm between two discs of solid oak
  • The shiny colors are brushed and then electropolished, with a surface protection over them — not painted
  • The candle is placed on the oak, not on the metal

Why the shiny colors are not painted. Standard paint does not give a shine like this, so none is used on the shiny colors. The metal is brushed and electropolished instead, and a surface protection goes over it — which is what keeps the finish from dulling near a flame.

Using it

Lighting it

A candle holder is the one table piece with a flame in it. These three habits are what keep it safe and looking the way it arrived.

  1. Seat the candle before you light it

Set it square on the oak before the match, not after. A candle that leans heats one side of the metal more than the other.

  2. Give it a surface that will not flex

A table or a fixed shelf rather than a stack of books, with a hand’s width clear around it.

  3. Put it out before you leave the room

A candle is lit for the meal and put out after it. That habit is the whole safety routine.

Where it lives

Where it ends up

The middle of the iftar table

Lit at maghrib, when the table is laid and everyone sits down at once.

A console or a sideboard

Against the wall of the room guests sit in, where it is seen from the table without being in the way of it.

A shelf in the evening

A living-room shelf with nothing hanging above it, for the hours after the meal.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

A dry, soft cloth only

That is the product’s own instruction: a dry soft cloth, never a wet one, and no chemicals or alcohol on the metal or the wood.

Never leave it burning unattended

Put the candle out before you leave the room, and keep it clear of curtains, shelves above it and anything that hangs.

Let it cool before you move it

The metal carries heat from the flame for a while after it is out. Wait, then lift it by the base.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Basmala is the opening of almost every Surah in the Quran. Scholars at the Islamic Bulletin note that starting any task with 'Bismillah' aligns your intention with the Divine, transforming a mundane act into an act of 'Ibada' (worship). Having this on your wall acts as a constant visual prompt for 'Dhikr' (remembrance) for every family member.

Yes, it is highly encouraged. Displaying Quranic verses as a reminder is a time-honored tradition. As long as the art is hung with 'Adab'—meaning it is placed in a clean, high, and respectful location rather than near the floor or in bathrooms—it is considered a virtuous way to sanctify the home environment.

The most strategic and traditional placement is the entryway or the foyer. By placing it near the front door, it ensures that 'Bismillah' is the first thing recited upon entering and the last thing seen upon leaving. It sets a spiritual boundary for the home, inviting peace and warding off distractions.

Standard paint is a surface layer that can chip or flake. Our Turkish-made metal art uses electro-coating, which creates a chemical bond between the finish and the metal. This results in a much more resilient, rust-resistant surface that maintains its brilliant Gold, Silver, or Black luster for years without fading.

Ar-Rahman' refers to Allah's all-encompassing mercy that extends to all of creation, while 'Ar-Rahim' refers to His specific, intimate mercy for the believers. Displaying this verse reminds the household that they are constantly enveloped in both forms of Divine love and compassion.

Absolutely. Since we are commanded to say 'Bismillah' before eating, the dining room is an excellent location. It serves as a reminder for the family to recognize Allah as the 'Razzaq' (Provider) and to express gratitude for the sustenance provided at every meal.

We use high-density, premium materials sourced in Turkey, which is more stable than standard materials. It is specifically engineered to resist the expansion and contraction caused by indoor humidity. However, we recommend keeping wood art indoors and away from direct moisture to ensure its longevity.

We work with professional calligraphers in Turkey who are masters of the Arabic script. Every design is cross-referenced multiple sources to ensure every letter, vowel mark (haraka), and dot (nuqta) is perfectly placed according to the Uthmani codex, preserving the sanctity of the text.

Treat the art with 'Adab'—we suggest being in a state of 'Wudu' (ablution) when handling it. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently remove dust. Avoid any chemical cleaners or water, which are unnecessary for our premium finishes and could potentially dull the luster over time.

With over 6000+ successful reviews, our logistics are highly reliable. Once production is complete, we use express shipping to deliver your art in 3-5 business days. We provide 24/7 expert support and real-time tracking so you can follow your piece's journey from our workshop to your wall.

Our candle holders are crafted from a high-quality blend of solid wood and premium metal to ensure they are as sturdy as they are beautiful.

To enjoy the warm glow safely, always ensure candles are securely centered on the wooden platforms and never leave them burning unattended.

Since we use specialized electropolishing rather than standard paint, a quick wipe with a dry, soft cloth is all you need to keep that brilliant shine.

These pieces are designed for indoor serenity; to protect the solid wood and metal finish from moisture or direct sunlight, we recommend keeping them inside.

Your candle holder is designed for ease; it typically arrives as a few simple pieces that you can quickly and securely put together to begin decorating.
