Bring Palestine to your wall, in the colors that suit your room.
This Palestine wooden wall map is cut from MDF to the outline of the country and built up in layers, with city names in Arabic and Latin script. It comes in three color schemes and three sizes, from 15 x 40 cm up to 32 x 90 cm, and mounts with the double-sided tape in the box.
Choose Your Color Scheme:
Walnut & Cream: walnut-tone and cream layers with taupe accents.
Black & Gray: black, charcoal and cream layers.
Navy & Mustard: navy, mustard and cream layers.
Made to Hang Easily
Layered MDF: 15 mm thick, so the map stands off the wall. The colors are the boards’ own, not paint.
3 Sizes: 5.9 x 15.7", 8.7 x 23.6" and 12.6 x 35.4" (width x height). The two larger sizes arrive in two parts.
No Nails: Double-sided tape is included. Place the tapes vertically for a stronger hold; a hairdryer helps them come off cleanly.

Palestine cut from MDF and built up in layers, in three color schemes: walnut and cream, black and gray, or navy and mustard. Three sizes, 15 × 40 up to 32 × 90 cm. Palestine as its own outline, which is the whole point of a map cut to a border rather than boxed inside a frame.
Three decisions before it ships
Design
Walnut & Cream, Black & Gray or Navy & Mustard. Every color scheme is the same layered MDF map.
Size
Three sizes, 15 × 40 up to 32 × 90 cm, whichever color scheme you choose, drawn to scale against a sofa below.
Hanging
It mounts with the double-sided tape in the box rather than a nail, so the wall takes no hole.
Size & scale
Three sizes, 15 × 40 up to 32 × 90 cm
The ladder runs from 15 × 40 cm up to 32 × 90 cm, the same in every color scheme. All three are drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa, which matters more on a map than on a rectangle — the outline leaves air around it.
Size
Width × height (in)
Width × height (cm)
Best for
M
5.9 × 15.7″
15 × 40 cm
A narrow wall beside a door, or a bookcase end
L
8.7 × 23.6″
22 × 60 cm
A study wall, or a child’s room — the size most chosen
XL
12.6 × 35.4″
32 × 90 cm
A hallway run, or a stairwell
Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest. The 22 × 60 and 32 × 90 cm sizes arrive in two parts.

Cut to the border, built up in layers
The map is cut to the outline of the country and built up in layers of MDF, 15 mm thick in total, so the shape stands off the wall rather than sitting flat against it. The tones are the boards’ own — there is no coat of paint over the top.
MDF, cut and layered to the outline
Cut to the country’s own outline rather than a rectangle around it
Built up from layers of MDF, so the shape has real depth on the wall
Each layer cut from its own board, so the color is the material’s rather than a coat of paint
On the tape. Double-sided tape carries a cut panel of this weight without a nail, and comes off the wall with a hairdryer rather than a filler and a brush — which is what makes it the right fixing for a rented wall.
Hanging it
Tape, not a nail
A map goes up by its outline rather than a center line, which is a different job from hanging a rectangle. Three steps.
Tape the outline on the wall first
A country is a shape, not a rectangle, so run painter's tape around its extremes and live with it for a day. It is the only way to see whether the wall takes it.
Clean the wall where the tape goes
Double-sided tape holds on a dry, dust-free surface and lets go on a dusty one. Wipe the spots, let them dry, then press.
Press from the middle outward
Put the tapes on vertically for a stronger hold, line the piece up, then press from the center out so no corner is left holding the whole weight.

Where it goes
Where it goes
A study or an office wall
The wall you sit facing, where a map is read rather than glanced at.
A child’s room
A country on the wall gets looked at every day for years, which no framed print manages.
An entry or a hallway
A shape reads at a glance in a space nobody stands still in, which is exactly what a map is.

Care
Keeping it as it arrived
Dry cloth only
A soft, dry cloth. Nothing scouring, and nothing wet.
No solvents
Alcohol and glass cleaner mark a board finish. If a mark will not come off dry, use a barely damp cloth and dry it at once.
Away from damp and direct sun
Wood moves with humidity, so give it an interior wall out of the midday light and away from a bathroom.
Choose your color scheme and size
Three color schemes, three sizes, one construction. Tape the outline on the wall before you choose — the jump from 22 × 60 to 32 × 90 is larger than it reads on a screen.
