Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. This applies to both domestic and international orders.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@islamicwallartstore.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs
If your item arrived damaged or defective, or if we sent you the wrong product, we cover the return shipping cost and either replace the item or refund you in full. If you are returning or exchanging an item for any other reason, for example you changed your mind, the return shipping cost is yours.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right at no extra cost to you.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Refunds

Measure the table, not the room. Three placemats side by side take 144 cm of table edge, so three a side wants a table of about 150 cm or more. On a 120 cm table, lay two a side and one at each end.

Using it

Laying the table

A table laid for iftar is set once and cleared every night for a month. These three habits are what keep a cloth set looking the way it arrived.

Placemat first, then build on it

Square each placemat to the table edge, set the plate on it, the cutlery pouch to the right and the coaster above the knife. The napkin goes folded on the plate.
Iron out the travel folds on the reverse

Straight out of the box it carries the folds it traveled in. A low iron on the back takes them out and leaves the embroidery raised.
Clear it with the plates, every night

Shake the crumbs off and fold the set rather than leaving it under the next day’s dishes. It is laid fresh at sunset.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Cold and delicate, or by hand

A cold wash on the delicate cycle, or by hand. That is what the cloth and the embroidery are made for, and it is the whole routine.

Iron on the reverse, on low

Turn each piece over and iron the back on a low setting. The embroidery stays raised instead of being pressed flat.

Crumbs off before the wash

Shake each piece out after the meal, before it goes in the machine. Crumbs are what snag embroidery in a drum.
