Surah Al-Fath, verse 1

Acrylic calligraphy on a long glass panel

Surah Al-Fath, verse 1 set in acrylic over tempered glass. Made in one size, 90 × 33 cm.

Two decisions before it ships

Size

Made in one size, 90 × 33 cm, drawn to scale against a sofa below.
Hanging

A hanging part is fitted to the back and one nail carries it. It ships ready to hang.

What is written on it

The words themselves

Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory — the opening of the surah, and one of the shortest verses that stands on its own.

إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِينًا

“Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory.”

Surah Al-Fath 48:1

Size & scale

Made in one size, 90 × 33 cm

One size only, 90 × 33 cm, so the decision is the wall rather than the piece. It is drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa, which is the only honest way to judge it.

Size	Width × height (in)	Width × height (cm)	Best for
L	35.4 × 13″	90 × 33 cm	Above a three-seat sofa or a sideboard

Match it to the furniture, not the wall. A low horizontal piece looks right when it spans roughly two thirds of whatever sits beneath it. Run painter's tape to the full width first and look at it from where you normally sit.

Materials

What it is made of

Material: Tempered glass4 mm, single piece
Finishing: Glass and acrylicOn 4 mm tempered glass

Craft

Acrylic on glass, not printed on it

The calligraphy is cut from acrylic and laid onto the glass, so it stands proud of the surface. The glass is produced as one piece.

Acrylic calligraphy standing proud of the glass
Calligraphy in acrylic, layered onto the painted glass rather than printed on it
Tempered glass at 4 mm, produced as a single piece
A metal hanging part fitted to the back, so nothing shows on the face

On tempered glass. Tempered glass is heat-treated after cutting, which is what lets a single 4 mm sheet hang from one nail and take a knock without a frame around it. The color is painted onto the glass, so it sits behind the surface you touch.

Hanging it

One nail, and one level line

Glass wants the hanger measured rather than guessed, and it wants carrying by the edges. Both take a minute.

Lay it face down and find the hanger

Set it on a towel, face down, and measure from the top edge to the metal hanging part. That one number is the whole job.
Pencil one level line

Mark a light horizontal line at hanger height, centered on the furniture below rather than on the wall as a whole.
One nail, then lift by the edges

Set a single nail on the line. Carry the panel by its edges — never by the calligraphy — and hook it on.

Mounting bracket already fitted to the back
Ships ready to hang; no frame, glass or backing board to fit
Packed with corner protection for transit

Where it goes

Above the sofa

The wall a wide glass panel was made for, spanning roughly two thirds of the seat beneath it.

Dining and console walls

A long, low panel sits naturally over a sideboard, and glass takes the light a matte piece cannot.

An entry or hallway

A mirrored ground throws light back down a corridor, which is what makes a narrow space read wider.

Against the alternatives

	This piece	Commonly sold alternatives
Material	Painted tempered glass with acrylic calligraphy	Printed acrylic sheet, or a print behind window glass
The text	The verse in full, read at a glance	Often an excerpt rather than the whole text
Hanging	Bracket pre-fitted, ready to hang	Frame, hooks or backing board to fit yourself

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth on the glass face. Nothing abrasive, and nothing on the acrylic calligraphy.

No ammonia or alcohol

Household glass cleaner attacks both the paint behind the glass and the acrylic on it. A barely damp cloth, dried at once, is enough.

Lift it by the edges

An 4 mm sheet is heavy for its size and the calligraphy stands proud of the face. Carry it by the edges, never by the script.

Choose your size and finish

One size, one construction. Tape the outline on the wall before you order — it is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

This verse was revealed after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. At the time, many companions felt discouraged by the treaty's terms. However, Allah revealed this verse to declare that the peace achieved was actually a 'Clear Victory.' It teaches us that what looks like a compromise or a delay in our plans may actually be the greatest victory Allah has orchestrated for us.

Displaying Verse 1 of Surah Al-Fath serves as a constant reminder of Divine support. It is a verse of optimism and breakthrough. In a home or office, it encourages a mindset of resilience and trust in Allah’s timing, signifying that even through trials, a 'Clear Victory' is being prepared for the believer.

Because it is a statement of triumph and opening, this piece is highly effective in home offices, studies, or entryways. Placing it where it is seen at the start of a workday or upon entering the home reinforces the feeling of progress, success, and the opening of new opportunities (Fath).

Our Al-Fath designs often utilize 'Thuluth' or 'Jali Diwani' script, known for their majestic and flowing proportions. The composition is balanced to highlight the word 'Fath' (Victory), creating a visual focal point that is both spiritually commanding and artistically sophisticated.

We employ an intricate multi-layered 3D technique that gives the calligraphy physical depth. This allows the Arabic letters to interact with your room’s lighting; as the light shifts, the art casts soft shadows that give the declaration of victory a prominent and 'living' presence on your wall.

The piece is treated with high-luster, specialized coatings—such as brushed gold, polished silver, or deep matte black. These finishes are anti-tarnish and moisture-resistant, ensuring that the regal appearance of the verse remains pristine and vibrant for decades without fading or wear.

To preserve the premium textures and sharp edges of the 3D calligraphy, a simple wipe with a dry, soft microfiber cloth is sufficient. Avoiding chemical cleaners or moisture ensures that the specialized finish stays vivid and clear for the lifetime of the piece.

Gifting Surah Al-Fath 1 is a gesture of celebrating someone’s success while acknowledging its Divine source. It is a prestigious choice for business openings, promotions, graduations, or any major breakthrough, offering the recipient a permanent reminder that their success is a 'Clear Victory' from Allah.

Yes. Each design features an integrated, hidden hanging system on the reverse side. This allows the piece to sit securely against the wall with a professional 'floating' look, keeping the focus entirely on the sacred calligraphy without visible or distracting hardware.

Our master designers in Turkey meticulously verify every vowel and 'harakat' (diacritical mark) to ensure 100% calligraphic accuracy. We bridge centuries of heritage with modern production standards to deliver a piece that is as spiritually sound as it is artistically superior.

Tempered glass is moisture-resistant, but the artwork or ink used may not be waterproof. It's best to keep the art indoors and away from direct exposure to rain or high humidity. If used in bathrooms, ensure it's in a well-ventilated area and securely mounted.

While tempered glass itself resists UV damage, the printed artwork may gradually fade if exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. For longevity, it's recommended to place your wall art away from harsh, direct sunlight or use UV-protective window films.

Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth (not directly onto the glass) and gently wipe the surface. Avoid abrasive materials or strong chemicals, as they may scratch the glass or damage the artwork's finish.

Yes, tempered glass is significantly stronger and safer than regular glass. It is heat-resistant and designed to shatter into small, less dangerous pieces if broken. This makes it safe for use in various rooms, including kitchens and even children's rooms—though proper installation is essential.
