Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest.

The script is cut clean through the sheet and the circle is closed by the letterforms themselves, so the wall color fills the whole inside of the piece.

A circle has no top edge to level against, so mark the center point and hang to that. Then step back: a circle off-center shows more than a rectangle hung crooked.

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth. Lift it by the edges when you move it, since a shiny surface shows fingerprints more readily than a matte one.

No cleaners

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will cut into a painted surface. A barely damp cloth, dried straight away, is enough.

Away from damp

An indoor piece. Keep it off bathroom walls and away from a kitchen extractor.
