  • Translation of Ayatul Kursi:

"Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."

Ayatul Kursi, as a set of three

A clock with two matching panels beside it

A clock and two matching panels, in matte steel with UV printing. Two set sizes: a 45 cm clock with 35 cm panels, or a 67 cm clock with 47 cm panels.

Two decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Two set sizes — the clock at 45 or 67 cm, drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Hanging

Three pieces, so the gaps between them are the work rather than the fixings.

What is written on it

The words on the face

The Throne Verse around the clock face, with the two panels beside it carrying the pattern that frames it.

“Allah! And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”

Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255

Size & scale

The table is the clock; the set adds two panels

Each figure below is the clock itself, at 45 or 67 cm. The set adds two matching panels — 35 cm each with the smaller clock, 47 cm each with the larger — so the run the set needs is roughly two and a half times the clock’s width.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high · pieces drawn 2.5 cm apart L · 67 × 67 cm each 26.4 × 26.4 in M · 45 × 45 cm each 17.7 × 17.7 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
M17.7 × 17.7″45 × 45 cmA dining or hallway wall, as a row of three
L26.4 × 26.4″67 × 67 cmA living-room feature wall, read from across the room

Tape the whole outline first. A set needs its total footprint marked, not each piece measured — run painter's tape around the full width and height, stand back to where you normally sit, and judge it from there.

Craft

Matte steel, with the pattern printed on

All three pieces are matte steel with the artwork UV printed onto them, so the tezhip pattern holds detail that a cut piece could not. The clock carries the movement; the two panels are solid.

  • Matte steel with the pattern UV printed on
  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • Color applied by UV print directly onto the steel
  • Cut edges left clean through the fine strokes of the script

On the UV printing. The color is cured onto the steel under UV light rather than sprayed over it, which holds an even tone across the whole piece and leaves the cut edge of the metal to do the work.

Hanging it

Three pieces, one line

Three pieces read as one only if they share a line and an even gap, and that is decided on the floor rather than on the wall.

  1. Lay the panels out on the floor

Arrange every panel exactly as it should read on the wall, with even gaps, then measure the total width and the distance to each hanger.

  2. Mark one shared line

Pencil a single level line and put every hanger on it. That is what keeps the panels reading as one piece.

  3. Hang from one end, by the edges

Work across from one end, checking each panel against the line. Lift each one by its edges rather than its face.

Where it goes

Where it goes

A dining or hallway wall

A row of three fills a wall that no single clock of this size would.

Above a sofa or a sideboard

The clock centered with a panel either side, which is the arrangement most people land on.

A study wall

The smaller set suits a wall with a desk under it, where the clock is glanced at rather than watched.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth along the length of the script. Lift the piece by its edges when you move it.

No cleaners

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will cut into a printed surface. A barely damp cloth, dried straight away, lifts anything a dry cloth will not.

Away from damp

An indoor piece. Keep it off bathroom walls and away from a kitchen extractor.

Choose your size and finish

Two set sizes, three pieces. Lay all three out on the floor and settle the gaps before you mark anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

Displaying Ayatul Kursi is widely considered permissible and is a virtuous practice for 'Dhikr' (remembrance). Scholars at the Islamic Bulletin suggest that hanging such verses helps transform a living space into a place of reflection. As long as the art is treated with 'Adab' (etiquette)—placed in a clean, elevated position and not near areas of impurity—it is a respected addition to any Muslim home.

Ayatul Kursi is known as the 'Verse of Protection.' Authentic narrations suggest that its recitation or presence serves as a spiritual shield against evil, anxiety, and harm. It describes Allah’s 'Kursi' (Throne) extending over the heavens and the earth, reminding the household that His guardianship is constant and effortless, bringing peace and 'Sakina' to the environment.

The most respectful locations are the living room, foyer, or a dedicated prayer space. Many choose to hang it near the main entrance so it is the first and last thing seen when entering or leaving the home. To maintain proper etiquette, ensure it is hung high on the wall, above shoulder level, and never in bathrooms or areas where it might be treated with low regard.

No, our metal pieces undergo a premium electro-coating process in Turkey. This industrial finish is far superior to standard paint or stainless steel, as it creates a chemical bond that is rust-resistant and durable. Whether you choose Gold, Silver, or Black, the finish will remain vibrant and will not tarnish or peel, even in humid climates.

Accuracy is our highest priority. Every piece is designed following the traditional Uthmani script found. Our expert calligraphers in Turkey meticulously verify every 'Nuqta' (dot) and 'Haraka' (vowel mark) to ensure the sacred text is perfectly preserved. This ensures your wall art is a faithful and religiously sound representation of Allah's word.

Handle the art with the same respect you would show a Mushaf. We recommend being in a state of 'Wudu' (ablution) when touching the sacred text. When cleaning, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently remove dust without using chemicals. If you are moving, wrap the piece in a clean cloth and ensure it never touches the floor during the transition.

Production speed depends on the material. Either wood or metal, both types are produced in our Turkish workshop and shipped via express delivery to reach you within 3-7 business days.

Yes, it is common and permissible to hang Ayatul Kursi in a bedroom to bring a sense of safety and tranquility. In a child's nursery, it serves as a beautiful introduction to the power of Allah. Ensure it is mounted securely and at a height that remains out of reach of small children to protect both the art and the sanctity of the text.

You can explain that Ayatul Kursi is a 'Hymn of Divine Majesty.' It describes God's eternal nature, His absolute knowledge, and His throne that encompasses the entire universe. It is a verse of peace and protection that reminds Muslims that God never grows tired of watching over His creation, reflecting a universal message of hope and divine care.
