Surah Al-Fatiha

Calligraphy and hours cut into one metal face

Surah Al-Fatiha cut into one metal face. Made in one size, 47 × 47 cm.

Two decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Made in one size, 47 × 47 cm, drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Hanging

It arrives ready to use, so the only job is the nail and the time.

What is written on it

The words on the face

The surah that opens the Qur’an and every unit of prayer, set around the hours rather than in a line.

“In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, The Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the Straight Path, The path of those who have received Your grace; Not the path of those who have brought down wrath upon themselves, nor of those who have gone astray.”

Size & scale

Made in one size, 47 × 47 cm

One size only, 47 cm across. A clock is judged on whether the hands read from where you stand, so it is drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high One size · 47 × 47 cm 18.5 × 18.5 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
One size18.5 × 18.5″47 × 47 cmA kitchen, dining or hallway wall — the size most chosen

Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest.

Craft

One cut face, with the movement behind it

The calligraphy and the hour marks are cut into one metal face, with the movement fitted behind it. Nothing is printed on a dial and there is no glass in front.

  • One cut metal face, with the movement behind it
  • A cut metal face, produced as one piece
  • A quartz movement fitted behind the face
  • Ready to use on delivery, with the hands already set on

On the face. The calligraphy and the hour marks are cut into one metal face rather than printed on a dial behind glass, so the wall shows through the cut and the piece reads as wall art first.

Hanging it

One nail, and set the time first

Everything about hanging a clock is easy except reaching behind it afterwards, which is what the three steps are about.

  1. Pick the wall by where you look for the time

A clock is read from a doorway or a seat, not admired from across the room. Stand where you will actually look at it and choose that wall.

  2. One nail at hanger height

Measure from the top of the face to the fixing on the back, mark a light pencil line at that height, and set one nail on it.

  3. Set the hands before you hang it

Set the time with the piece face up on a table, then hang it. Reaching behind a mounted clock is how a hand gets bent.

Where it goes

Where it goes

A kitchen or a dining wall

The room a clock is checked in most, and the one where a piece this size still has a wall to itself.

A hallway or an entry

Read on the way out, which is the moment the time actually matters.

A study or an office wall

Behind the desk rather than in front of it, so it is glanced at rather than watched.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth on the face. Nothing abrasive.

No cleaners

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish mark a finished metal surface, and none of them belong near a movement.

Lift it by the rim

Carry it by the edge of the face rather than by the hands.

Add it to your cart

One size, one movement. Check the distance you will read it from before you order — 47 cm is bigger on a wall than in a photograph.

Frequently Asked Questions

Al-Fatihah is the "Opening" to every spiritual endeavor. It contains the essence of all 114 Surahs: praise, worship, and the plea for guidance. Displaying it in your home is a statement of foundational faith—it serves as a constant reminder of our daily covenant with Allah and our dependence on His guidance along the 'Straight Path.'

The Prophet (PBUH) referred to Al-Fatihah as *Ash-Shifa* (The Cure). Having this sacred text visible encourages frequent recitation, which is believed to bring healing, spiritual protection, and 'Barakah' (blessing) to the household. It transforms a common living space into a sanctuary of remembrance.

Because it is the 'Opening,' it is exceptionally fitting for entryways, welcoming both residents and guests with the praise of Allah. It is also a popular centerpiece for main living rooms or prayer rooms (*Musallahs*), where its majestic script can anchor the spiritual focus of the entire family.

Given the length of the Surah, our designs often utilize a circular or teardrop composition in 'Thuluth' script. This allows the seven verses to flow harmoniously, creating a visual rhythm that represents the eternal nature of Divine praise. We also offer minimalist 'Kufic' versions for more modern, architectural spaces.

We use an intricate multi-layered 3D technique that gives the calligraphy physical depth. This allows the Arabic letters to interact with your room’s lighting; as the light shifts, the art casts soft shadows that give the sacred text a prominent and 'living' presence on your wall that flat prints cannot replicate.

The piece is treated with high-luster, specialized coatings—such as brushed gold, polished silver, or deep matte black. These finishes are anti-tarnish and moisture-resistant, ensuring that the regal appearance of the Surah remains pristine and vibrant for decades without fading or wear.

To preserve the premium textures and sharp edges of the 3D calligraphy, a simple wipe with a dry, soft microfiber cloth is sufficient. Avoiding chemical cleaners or moisture ensures that the specialized finish stays vivid and clear for the lifetime of the piece.

Gifting the 'Opening' is a symbolic gesture of wishing someone a blessed beginning. It is the most prestigious choice for a wedding or housewarming gift because it provides the recipient with the most fundamental chapter of the Qur'an, ensuring their new life or home is built upon a foundation of praise and guidance.

Yes. Each design features an integrated, hidden hanging system on the reverse side. This allows the piece to sit securely against the wall with a professional 'floating' look, keeping the focus entirely on the sacred calligraphy without visible or distracting hardware.

Our master designers in Turkey meticulously verify every vowel and 'harakat' (diacritical mark) to ensure 100% calligraphic accuracy. We bridge centuries of heritage with modern production standards to deliver a piece that is as spiritually sound as it is artistically superior.

Our Islamic Clock Wall Decors are makde out of either metal or wood, depending on the design.

Our Islamic Clocks work with a battery installed on the backside, which you may easily replace if it runs out.

We use silent mechanisms for our products to provide out customers with the best experience possible.

Definitely! Our products could be hung easily with the hanging attachments on the backside without any hassle.
