Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall, narrow piece the centre line matters more than the top edge — hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the XL runs from just above a sofa back up to head height.

Mark the centre, not the top
Pencil a point about 150 cm up from the floor. On a piece this tall and narrow, a centre that sits right forgives a top edge that does not.
Tape the outline first
Painter's tape to the full width and height lets you check the position from across the room without making a single hole.

Dry cloth only
A soft, dry microfibre cloth. Lift it by the edges when you move it — a shiny surface shows fingerprints more readily than a matte one.
No cleaners
Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will cut into a painted metal surface. If a mark will not lift dry, use a barely damp cloth and dry it at once.
Away from damp
Not for a bathroom wall or directly above a kitchen extractor. Steady humidity is what dulls a painted finish.
