The four Qul surahs

Four medallions in steel, cut as one set

Al-Kafirun, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas cut from steel as a matching set, sized 50 × 57 cm or 67 × 77 cm for the set as a whole.

Three decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Two set sizes — 50 × 57 cm or 67 × 77 cm across the whole set — drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Finish

Four finishes — black, gold, silver or copper.

  3. Hanging

Four pieces on one wall, so the spacing is the work. They arrive with the hanging tools fitted.

What is written on it

The four surahs recited together

The four short surahs that open with qul — say. Cut at matching size, they read as one set on the wall rather than four separate pieces.

“Say, 'O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship, nor do you worship what I worship. And I will not worship what you have worshiped, nor will you worship what I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.'”

Size & scale

A four-piece set is judged on its total footprint

The figures below are the outline all four occupy together, not one medallion. Both sizes are drawn at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high XL · 67 × 77 cm 26.4 × 30.3 in L · 50 × 57 cm 19.7 × 22.4 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
L19.7 × 22.4″50 × 57 cmAbove a two- or three-seat sofa, or a sideboard
XL26.4 × 30.3″67 × 77 cmA main living-room wall — the size most chosen

Tape the whole outline first. A set needs its total footprint marked, not each piece measured — run painter's tape around the full width and height, stand back to where you normally sit, and judge it from there.

Craft

The depth is structural, not printed

Steel rather than sheet metal, which is what lets a medallion this open hold its shape. Each surah is cut clean through, so the wall color runs inside the script and the piece changes with the light in the room.

  • Steel, cut clean through the script
  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • Cut edges left clean through the fine strokes of the script
  • The weight and the edge of real metal rather than a printed panel

Why the cut matters. Because the script is cut out of the sheet rather than printed onto it, the wall behind becomes part of the artwork and the piece changes with the light in the room through the day.

Finishes

The finishes

Four finishes. Black reads hardest against a pale wall; gold, silver and copper each pick up the light of the room differently.

Set of 4 Quls metal islamic wall art in black

Black

The sharpest contrast of the set against a pale wall, and the one that reads most clearly from across a room.

Set of 4 Quls metal islamic wall art in silver

Silver

Cool and quiet, and the easiest to place in a room that already has chrome or glass in it.

Set of 4 Quls metal islamic wall art in gold

Gold

Warm and bright, and the one that reads best against off-white and cream walls.

Set of 4 Quls metal islamic wall art in copper

Copper

The warmest of the set, and the one that reads best against green, clay or deep neutral walls.

Hanging it

Even gaps, one shared line

Four matching pieces read as one composition when the gaps match and every fixing sits on the same line. Lay the set out on the floor and measure from there.

  1. Lay the set out on the floor

Arrange every piece exactly as it should read on the wall, with even gaps, then measure the total width and the distance to each fixing.

  2. Mark one shared line

Pencil a single level line on the wall and put every fixing on it. That is what keeps the pieces reading as one composition.

  3. Tape the outline, then work across

Painter's tape to the full outline lets you check the whole arrangement before drilling. Hang from one end and work across, checking each piece against the line.

Where it goes

Where the set goes

Above the sofa

The wall this was designed for, spanning roughly two thirds of the seat beneath it.

Dining and console walls

A long, low piece sits naturally over a sideboard or a dining table, where a tall piece would crowd the ceiling.

Entryway and hallway

Cut work keeps a corridor from feeling closed in, because the wall reads through the letterforms.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth along the length of the script. Nothing abrasive.

No cleaners

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will mark a finished metal surface. A barely damp cloth, dried at once, is enough.

Away from damp

An indoor piece. Keep it off bathroom walls and away from a kitchen extractor.

Choose your size and finish

Two set sizes and four finishes. Tape the full outline of all four on the wall first — that is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hanging Quranic verses like the 4 Quls is entirely permissible and encouraged in Islamic tradition as a means of remembrance (Dhikr) and protection. These verses serve as a constant visual reminder of Allah's oneness and power, helping to keep the heart connected to the Divine. Scholars from major institutions often cite that such displays are beneficial as long as the verses are treated with the utmost respect and are not used as mere amulets with superstitious beliefs.

This combination represents a powerful "spiritual shield" for the home. Surah Al-Kafirun affirms pure monotheism, Surah Al-Ikhlas defines Allah's nature, and Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas seek refuge from external and internal evils. When paired with Ayatul Kursi, which is known as the most powerful verse in the Quran for protection, this collection creates a sanctuary of peace and divine guardianship within your living space.

The most respectful placement is in a clean, elevated area where the verses can be easily seen and read. Common locations include the living room, entryway, or a dedicated prayer space. It is highly recommended to avoid hanging them in bathrooms or low areas where they might be touched by feet. Placing them facing the Qibla or in a central gathering area ensures they serve their purpose as a focal point for remembrance.

No, it is not disrespectful provided the intention is for Dhikr and honoring the word of Allah. Our art is designed with deep reverence for the scriptural content, using high-quality materials to reflect the beauty of the message. The goal is to elevate the atmosphere of a Muslim home and inspire the inhabitants to recite these verses daily.

Electro-coating is a premium industrial process where the finish is bonded to the metal via an electric current. Unlike standard paint or polished stainless steel, this creates a uniform, durable, and rust-resistant layer that will not peel or flake over time. It provides a rich, matte or glossy texture that enhances the intricate Arabic calligraphy, ensuring the art remains pristine for decades.

Our finishes are specifically engineered to resist fading and oxidation. Because our production in Turkey utilizes advanced coating technologies, the gold and silver tones remain vibrant even in humid environments. Unlike cheap alternatives that use spray paint, our premium finishes are designed to withstand the test of time without losing their luster.

You should handle the art with wudu (ritual purity) as a sign of respect, though it is not strictly required for metal or wood art without direct contact with the mushaf. Wrap each piece in a clean, soft cloth or bubble wrap to prevent scratching. Always ensure the art is placed at the top of your moving boxes so that no other objects are resting above the word of Allah.

Metal art requires a specialized 5 to 6 day production window to ensure the laser cutting and electro-coating meet our quality standards. Once your piece passes inspection in Turkey, shipping takes approximately 3 to 5 business days. You can typically expect this sacred addition to your home within two weeks of placing your order.

Absolutely. Hanging the 4 Quls and Ayatul Kursi in a child's room is a beautiful way to introduce them to the concept of seeking refuge in Allah from a young age. It serves as a visual comfort and a prompt for parents to recite the evening Adhkar with their children, fostering a home environment filled with Barakah and light.

The choice depends on your aesthetic and timeline. Our wood pieces offer a warm, traditional feel and have a faster production time of 2 to 3 days. Our metal pieces provide a modern, sleek look with high durability and a three-dimensional effect when hung. Both options are crafted with the same expert precision and devotion to calligraphic accuracy.

The screws in the metal wall art are for the hanging bracket on the back and for the blind feet to provide a 3D view. Never attempt to remove them.

Metal products can be used outdoors, but are not recommended for direct rain, moisture or sunlight.

Yes, it can be done. First, confirm with customer service whether this is possible. If our designer approves, you will receive a custom order payment link.

Our products are made by hand, using labor-intensive techniques. Some minor defects are within the limits, and we indicate this in the listing details. If you detect a defect that exceeds the limits, contact customer service.

It will not darken unless exposed to moisture in normal indoor environments. We do not recommend protecting it from moisture or exposure to rain or direct sunlight outdoors.

We do not recommend any chemical products. You can remove dust with a slightly damp cloth.
