  • Translation of Ayatul Kursi:

"Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."

  • Translation of Al Falaq:

"Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, From the evil of that which He created, And from the evil of darkness when it settles, And from the evil of the blowers in knots, And from the evil of an envier when he envies."

Three texts in Kufic

Three black squares, one text each

Ayat al-Kursi, Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas set in Kufic and cut into 6 mm wood, one text to a square. Three sizes per square, 40 up to 60 cm.

Two decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Three sizes per square — 40, 50 or 60 cm — drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Hanging

Three squares in a row, so the gaps are the work rather than the fixings.

What is written on it

The Throne Verse, with the two surahs of refuge

Ayat al-Kursi with the two surahs recited for protection — squared into Kufic so each fills its own panel exactly.

“Allah! And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”

Size & scale

The table is one square; the set is three of them

Each figure below is a single square. The drawing shows all three in a row at true scale, a finger-width apart, with the smaller sizes nested inside the end square.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high · pieces drawn 2.5 cm apart XL · 60 × 60 cm each 23.6 × 23.6 in L · 50 × 50 cm each 19.7 × 19.7 in M · 40 × 40 cm each 15.7 × 15.7 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
M15.7 × 15.7″40 × 40 cmA hallway run, or above a narrow console
L19.7 × 19.7″50 × 50 cmAbove a console or a sideboard — the size most chosen
XL23.6 × 23.6″60 × 60 cmA main living-room wall above a three-seat sofa

Tape the whole outline first. A set needs its total footprint marked, not each piece measured — run painter's tape around the full width and height, stand back to where you normally sit, and judge it from there.

Craft

Cut from the board, in black

Kufic squares off every stroke, so each text is cut edge to edge in 6 mm wood and the three panels read as one band. In black the letterforms carry as silhouette rather than by shine.

  • One text squared into each panel, edge to edge
  • Cut clean through the board, so the wall color becomes part of the piece
  • A painted MDF panel with its own depth and a clean cut edge
  • Edges finished clean, with no visible fixings on the face

On the cut. Because the design is cut out of the board rather than printed onto it, the wall behind becomes part of the piece and the silhouette reads from across the room.

Hanging it

Three squares, one line, even gaps

Equal squares show an uneven gap immediately. Lay the three out on the floor, measure the gaps once, and transfer those numbers to the wall.

  1. Lay the set out on the floor

Arrange every piece exactly as it should read on the wall, with even gaps, then measure the total width and the distance to each fixing.

  2. Mark one shared line

Pencil a single level line on the wall and put every fixing on it. That is what keeps the pieces reading as one composition.

  3. Tape the outline, then work across

Painter's tape to the full outline lets you check the whole arrangement before drilling. Hang from one end and work across, checking each piece against the line.

  • Ships ready to hang; no frame, glass or backing board to fit

Where it goes

Where the three go

Above the sofa

The wall this was designed for, spanning roughly two thirds of the seat beneath it.

Dining and console walls

A long, low piece sits naturally over a sideboard or a dining table, where a tall piece would crowd the ceiling.

Entryway and hallway

Cut work keeps a corridor from feeling closed in, because the wall reads through the letterforms.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth. A painted board marks with abrasives, so nothing scouring.

No solvents

Alcohol and glass cleaner will lift paint. If a mark will not come off dry, use a barely damp cloth and dry it at once.

Away from damp and direct sun

Wood moves with humidity, so give it an interior wall out of the midday light and away from a bathroom.

Choose your size and finish

Three square sizes, and three of them on the wall. Tape the whole row first — that is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ayatul Kursi is the 255th verse of Surah Al-Baqarah and is known as the most magnificent verse in the Qur'an. It describes Allah’s absolute power, knowledge, and authority over the heavens and the earth. Displaying this verse is a powerful way to invite Divine protection (Hifz) into your home, acting as a constant visual reminder that nothing happens without the permission of the Ever-Living, All-Powerful Creator.

While Ayatul Kursi establishes the Majesty of Allah, Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas (the Mu'awwidhatayn) are the ultimate prayers for seeking refuge. Together, they form a complete "Spiritual Shield." This combination provides comfort to the heart, reminding the family that they are protected from external envy and internal anxieties, creating an atmosphere of safety and "Sakinah" (tranquility).

Beyond its protective qualities, Ayatul Kursi speaks of Allah’s Kursi (Throne) extending over the entire universe. Having this beautifully rendered in 3D calligraphy transforms a wall into a window of reflection. It humbles the viewer and brings a sense of warmth, as it reminds us that we are never alone—we are under the constant care of the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Yes, absolutely. By placing these high-end pieces in prominent areas like the entryway or the main lounge, they serve as "visual Dhikr." They encourage the household to recite these verses upon entering or leaving, turning a beautiful design element into a source of daily spiritual reward (Ajr) and mindfulness.

The calligraphy is precision-cut from mirrored/high-gloss acrylic over wood, metal or glass material. We use minimized hanging system that sits the art slightly away from the wall. This, combined with the thickness of the acrylic letters, creates a multi-layered 3D depth. The result is a piece that feels "alive" as it interacts with the ambient light in your room.

While our acrylic is industrial-strength and scratch-resistant, we recommend handling the letters with care to maintain their mirror-like brilliance. The beauty of the mirrored finish is that it reflects the colors of your room, allowing the sacred script to blend seamlessly with your existing decor while still standing out as a focal point.

Tempered glass offers a level of clarity and "luxury weight" that canvas simply cannot match. It provides a crystal-clear, high-gloss backdrop that makes the 3D script "pop." Furthermore, it is five times stronger than regular glass, ensuring that your spiritual investment remains a permanent, durable heirloom for your family.

Never. We use specialized, transparent bonding agents engineered specifically for glass-to-acrylic adhesion. This bond is UV-stable and resistant to temperature fluctuations, ensuring that every dot and vowel mark (harakat) of the Ayatul Kursi or the Surahs remains perfectly in place for decades to come.

Ayatul Kursi contains intricate linguistic details. Our master designers verify every curve and diacritical mark against the Uthmani script. Because we use laser-cutting technology, we achieve a level of precision that hand-painting often misses, ensuring that the Word of Allah is represented with 100% theological and aesthetic accuracy.

Gifting Ayatul Kursi and the protective Surahs is one of the most meaningful gestures in our tradition. It signifies a wish for the recipient’s home to be blessed and guarded. The premium glass and mirror finish elevate it from a simple gift to a prestigious "statement piece" that honors the occasion and the sanctity of the verses it holds.

Black painted, Gold Acrylic and Silver Acrylic

The wall art pieces are crafted from high-quality materials, including laser-cut MDF wood and acrylic. To maintain their appearance, avoid using water, alcohol, or chemicals. Clean the surfaces with a dry, soft cloth to preserve the finish. These materials ensure durability and a premium look suitable for long-term display.

Yes, all wall art pieces come fully assembled and ready to hang. They include pre-installed hanging hardware or nails or double-sided tapes for easy installation.

We do not recommend any chemical products. You can remove dust with a slightly damp cloth.
