Ayat al-Kursi with the two surahs of refuge

Three pieces in polished metal, read as one wall

Ayat al-Kursi with Al-Falaq and An-Nas, cut from metal and polished rather than painted. Two set sizes, with the Kursi the tallest of the three at each.

Three decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Two set sizes. Panels run about 50 cm wide, or 67 cm, and the Kursi is the tallest of the three at either size.

  2. Finish

Three polished tones — gold, silver or copper.

  3. Hanging

Three pieces on one wall, so the spacing is the work rather than the fixing. Lay the set out on the floor first.

What is written on it

The Throne Verse, with the two surahs of refuge

Ayat al-Kursi is the verse recited for protection; Al-Falaq and An-Nas are the two short surahs recited with it. Setting the three together is why this is a set and not three separate pieces.

“Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. Craft

Polished, not painted

The tone comes from the surface of the metal itself rather than from a coating over it, which is why it throws light back into the room instead of absorbing it. Each piece is cut clean so the wall color runs inside the letterforms.

  • Cut metal, polished to tone rather than painted
  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • A polished metal face, so the reflection has the depth of real metal
  • Cut edges left clean through the fine strokes of the script

On the shiny finishes. The shine is the metal itself rather than a printed sheen, so the reflection carries depth and the piece changes with the light in the room through the day.

Finishes

The finishes

Three polished tones. Each is the metal itself finished to that color, so the surface carries the light of the room rather than a flat pigment.

Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Falaq and An-Nas shiny metal set in shiny gold

Shiny Gold

Polished metal. The most reflective of the set and the one most often chosen for a main living-room wall.

Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Falaq and An-Nas shiny metal set in shiny silver

Shiny Silver

Polished metal. Throws light back into the room, so it lifts a wall that sits away from a window.

Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Falaq and An-Nas shiny metal set in shiny copper

Shiny Copper

Polished metal. Warmer than the gold and less common, and worth it if the room already has brass or wood tones.

Hanging it

Even gaps matter more than a level top edge

Three pieces of differing height read as one composition when the gaps match and the fixings share a line. Set the spacing on the floor before anything goes into the wall.

  1. Lay the set out on the floor

Arrange every piece exactly as it should read on the wall, with even gaps, then measure the total width and the distance to each fixing.

  2. Mark one shared line

Pencil a single level line on the wall and put every fixing on it. That is what keeps the pieces reading as one composition.

  3. Tape the outline, then work across

Painter's tape to the full outline lets you check the whole arrangement before drilling. Hang from one end and work across, checking each piece against the line.

Where it goes

The walls a polished set belongs on

Above the sofa

The wall this was designed for, spanning roughly two thirds of the seat beneath it.

Dining and console walls

A long, low piece sits naturally over a sideboard or a dining table, where a tall piece would crowd the ceiling.

Entryway and hallway

Cut work keeps a corridor from feeling closed in, because the wall reads through the letterforms.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry microfibre cloth. Lift the piece by its edges when you move it, since a polished face shows fingerprints readily.

No cleaners

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will cut into a polished metal surface. A barely damp cloth, dried at once, lifts anything a dry cloth will not.

Away from damp

An indoor piece. Keep it off bathroom walls and away from a kitchen extractor, where steady humidity dulls a polished finish.

Choose your size and finish

Two set sizes and three polished tones. Tape the full width of all three on the wall first — that is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ayatul Kursi is the 255th verse of Surah Al-Baqarah and is known as the most magnificent verse in the Qur'an. It describes Allah’s absolute power, knowledge, and authority over the heavens and the earth. Displaying this verse is a powerful way to invite Divine protection (Hifz) into your home, acting as a constant visual reminder that nothing happens without the permission of the Ever-Living, All-Powerful Creator.

While Ayatul Kursi establishes the Majesty of Allah, Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas (the Mu'awwidhatayn) are the ultimate prayers for seeking refuge. Together, they form a complete "Spiritual Shield." This combination provides comfort to the heart, reminding the family that they are protected from external envy and internal anxieties, creating an atmosphere of safety and "Sakinah" (tranquility).

Beyond its protective qualities, Ayatul Kursi speaks of Allah’s Kursi (Throne) extending over the entire universe. Having this beautifully rendered in 3D calligraphy transforms a wall into a window of reflection. It humbles the viewer and brings a sense of warmth, as it reminds us that we are never alone—we are under the constant care of the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Yes, absolutely. By placing these high-end pieces in prominent areas like the entryway or the main lounge, they serve as "visual Dhikr." They encourage the household to recite these verses upon entering or leaving, turning a beautiful design element into a source of daily spiritual reward (Ajr) and mindfulness.

The calligraphy is precision-cut from mirrored/high-gloss acrylic over wood, metal or glass material. We use minimized hanging system that sits the art slightly away from the wall. This, combined with the thickness of the acrylic letters, creates a multi-layered 3D depth. The result is a piece that feels "alive" as it interacts with the ambient light in your room.

While our acrylic is industrial-strength and scratch-resistant, we recommend handling the letters with care to maintain their mirror-like brilliance. The beauty of the mirrored finish is that it reflects the colors of your room, allowing the sacred script to blend seamlessly with your existing decor while still standing out as a focal point.

Tempered glass offers a level of clarity and "luxury weight" that canvas simply cannot match. It provides a crystal-clear, high-gloss backdrop that makes the 3D script "pop." Furthermore, it is five times stronger than regular glass, ensuring that your spiritual investment remains a permanent, durable heirloom for your family.

Never. We use specialized, transparent bonding agents engineered specifically for glass-to-acrylic adhesion. This bond is UV-stable and resistant to temperature fluctuations, ensuring that every dot and vowel mark (harakat) of the Ayatul Kursi or the Surahs remains perfectly in place for decades to come.

Ayatul Kursi contains intricate linguistic details. Our master designers verify every curve and diacritical mark against the Uthmani script. Because we use laser-cutting technology, we achieve a level of precision that hand-painting often misses, ensuring that the Word of Allah is represented with 100% theological and aesthetic accuracy.

Gifting Ayatul Kursi and the protective Surahs is one of the most meaningful gestures in our tradition. It signifies a wish for the recipient’s home to be blessed and guarded. The premium glass and mirror finish elevate it from a simple gift to a prestigious "statement piece" that honors the occasion and the sanctity of the verses it holds.

The screws in the metal wall art are for the hanging bracket on the back and for the blind feet to provide a 3D view. Never attempt to remove them.
