The Last Two Ayats of Surah Baqarah Aamanar Rasoolu

  • Translation of Surah Baqarah Verse 285:

"The Messenger believes in what was sent down to him from his Lord, as do the believers. They all believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. They say, 'We make no distinction between any of His messengers.' And they say, 'We hear and obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You is the final return.'" – and they say: "We hear, and we obey. [We seek] Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return [of all].”

  • Translation of Surah Baqarah Verse 285:

"Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. It will have what it has earned, and it will bear what it has committed. 'Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or err. Our Lord, burden us not as You burdened those before us. Forgive us, have mercy upon us, and help us against the disbelievers.'

Aamanar Rasoolu

Printed onto a tall sheet of tempered glass

Aamanar Rasoolu printed onto tempered glass. Two sizes, 35 × 50 up to 55 × 70 cm.

Two decisions before it ships

  1. Size

Two sizes, 35 × 50 up to 55 × 70 cm, drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Hanging

A hanging part is fitted to the back and one nail carries it. It ships ready to hang.

What is written on it

The words themselves

The last two verses of Al-Baqarah, recited at night and long enough that legibility is the whole design problem.

“The Messenger believes in what was sent down to him from his Lord, as do the believers. They all believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. They say, ‘We make no distinction between any of His messengers.’ And they say, ‘We hear and obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You is the final return.’”

Size & scale

Two sizes, 35 × 50 up to 55 × 70 cm

The ladder runs from 35 × 50 cm up to 55 × 70 cm, so the constraint is the clear height above the furniture. Both are drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high XL · 55 × 70 cm 21.7 × 27.6 in L · 35 × 50 cm 13.8 × 19.7 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
L13.8 × 19.7″35 × 50 cmA narrow wall beside a door, or a prayer corner
XL21.7 × 27.6″55 × 70 cmA feature wall, or a stairwell

Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest.

Craft

Printed onto the glass, under the surface you touch

The artwork is printed directly onto the tempered glass, which is what lets it hold detail a cut piece cannot. The glass is produced as one piece.

  • The artwork printed onto the glass itself
  • The artwork printed directly onto the tempered glass, so it holds detail a cut piece cannot
  • Tempered glass, produced as a single piece
  • A hanging attachment fitted to the back, so nothing shows on the face

On printed tempered glass. The image is printed onto the glass and the glass is heat-treated, which is what lets a single sheet hang from one nail without a frame around it. The print sits under the surface you touch, so what you clean is glass.

Hanging it

One nail, and one level line

Glass wants the hanger measured rather than guessed, and it wants carrying by the edges. Both take a minute.

  1. Lay it face down and find the hanger

Set it on a towel, face down, and measure from the top edge to the metal hanging part. That one number is the whole job.

  2. Pencil one level line

Mark a light horizontal line at hanger height, centered on the furniture below rather than on the wall as a whole.

  3. One nail, then lift by the edges

Set a single nail on the line. Carry the panel by its edges — never by the calligraphy — and hook it on.

  • Mounting bracket already fitted to the back
  • Ships ready to hang; no frame, glass or backing board to fit
  • Packed with corner protection for transit

Where it goes

Where it goes

The prayer corner

The wall you face when you lay out the mat, where a single piece is read rather than looked at.

Above a console or a sideboard

It sits over a run of furniture as one object, without needing a second piece to balance it.

A hallway or a study wall

One piece suits the wall you pass or sit facing, where a set would be too much.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth on the glass face. Nothing abrasive.

No ammonia or alcohol

Household glass cleaner attacks the print behind the glass. A barely damp cloth, dried at once, is enough.

Lift it by the edges

Glass is heavy for its size. Carry it by the edges rather than by the face.

Choose your size and finish

Two sizes, one construction. Tape the outline on the wall before you choose — the jump from 35 × 50 to 55 × 70 is larger than it reads on a screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated in a sahih Hadith that "Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will be sufficient for him." Scholars interpret 'sufficient' to mean they provide protection against evil, suffice as a night prayer (Tahajjud), or act as a complete renewal of faith before sleep.

Verse 286 is a masterclass in Divine compassion. It includes the famous plea: "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred." It serves as a legal and spiritual declaration that Islam is a religion of ease, explicitly asking Allah not to place a burden on us like those placed on previous nations.

Because of the Hadith regarding nighttime protection, this piece is the premier choice for master bedrooms. It transforms the room into a sanctuary of 'Tawakkul' (trust in Allah). Catching a glimpse of these verses before sleep serves as a visual trigger to recite them, ensuring the household rests under Divine guardianship.

Unlike traditional paper or canvas, UV printing on glass involves curing ink with ultraviolet light directly onto the surface. This creates a high-definition finish with incredible color depth and "pop." The result is a piece that looks incredibly vibrant and sharp, with a premium gloss that standard prints cannot replicate.

Tempered glass is roughly 4-5 times stronger than standard glass. It is designed to be shatter-resistant; in the highly unlikely event that it does break, it crumbles into small, blunt granules rather than dangerous jagged shards. This makes it a safe, durable choice for homes with children or pets.

No. The UV-curing process creates a bond that is exceptionally resistant to light and environmental wear. Our glass art is designed to stay "gallery-new" for decades, maintaining its original brilliance even if placed in a room with significant natural sunlight.

Maintenance is effortless. Since the surface is non-porous glass, you can use a soft microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints or dust. Unlike canvas, which can trap dust in its fibers, the glass remains perfectly hygienic and easy to polish to a mirror-like shine.

Gifting the final verses of Al-Baqarah is a gesture of wishing the recipients protection and ease in their new life together. The combination of sacred text and modern, high-gloss tempered glass makes it a sophisticated statement piece that bridges traditional spirituality with contemporary interior design.

No. The art features a specialized, hidden hanging system on the back. This allows the glass to sit slightly off the wall, creating a "floating" effect that is clean and professional, ensuring the focus remains entirely on the beautiful calligraphy and vibrant UV print.

Our designers meticulously verify every 'harakat' (vowel mark) to ensure 100% theological accuracy. We use high-resolution digital masters of authentic Ottoman-style calligraphy, ensuring that even when printed on a large scale, every letter remains crisp, legible, and spiritually sound.

Tempered glass is moisture-resistant, but the artwork or ink used may not be waterproof. It's best to keep the art indoors and away from direct exposure to rain or high humidity. If used in bathrooms, ensure it's in a well-ventilated area and securely mounted.

While tempered glass itself resists UV damage, the printed artwork may gradually fade if exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. For longevity, it's recommended to place your wall art away from harsh, direct sunlight or use UV-protective window films.

Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth (not directly onto the glass) and gently wipe the surface. Avoid abrasive materials or strong chemicals, as they may scratch the glass or damage the artwork's finish.

Yes, tempered glass is significantly stronger and safer than regular glass. It is heat-resistant and designed to shatter into small, less dangerous pieces if broken. This makes it safe for use in various rooms, including kitchens and even children's rooms—though proper installation is essential.
