Surah Al-Muminun 97–98

The dua said against what you cannot see

The dua for protection from evil cut from 1.5 mm steel at 67 × 47 cm, powder painted to a matte finish.

Two decisions before it ships

  1. Size

One size, 67 × 47 cm, drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Hanging

It arrives with the hanging tools, so the work is the center point and one level check.

What is written on it

The dua the Prophet was taught to say

My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whisperings of the devils, and I seek refuge in You lest they come near me.

Ayat 97: وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ

“Ayat 97: "And say: My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the devils.”

Surah Al-Muminun 23:97–98

Size & scale

A near-square piece is judged on its width

At 67 × 47 cm this reads as one deliberate piece rather than part of a gallery wall, so it wants clear space around it. Drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high One size · 67 × 47 cm 26.4 × 18.5 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
One size26.4 × 18.5″67 × 47 cmA prayer corner, a bedroom wall, or a hallway that needs one piece

Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest.

Craft

Powder painted after cutting

Cut from steel and powder painted afterwards, so the finish is even on every inside edge of the script.

  • Cut steel, powder painted after cutting
  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • Electrostatic powder coating, baked on for a hard, even surface
  • No odour and no harmful substances

A coating that is baked, not sprayed. Powder is applied electrostatically and then cured, which gives a harder and more even surface than a sprayed paint and holds its color without yellowing.

Hanging it

Center it, and check the level

Mark the center about 150 cm from the floor, hang it, then check it from where you normally sit.

  1. Mark the center, not the top

Pencil a point about 150 cm up from the floor. On a tall piece the center line matters more than the top edge.

  2. Tape the outline first

Painter's tape to the full width and height lets you judge the position from where you normally sit.

  3. Hang and level

Hook it onto its fixing, slide it until it sits straight, then step back across the room to confirm.

Where it goes

The walls it was sized for

The prayer corner

The wall you face when you lay out the mat, at standing eye level rather than above it.

A hallway or landing

It reads on the way past, on a wall people walk by rather than sit in front of.

Above a console

A main living-room wall, centered on the furniture beneath rather than on the wall as a whole.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth along the length of the script. A baked powder coat is harder than sprayed paint and takes dusting well.

No solvents

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will dull a matte surface. If a mark will not lift dry, use a barely damp cloth and dry it at once.

Damp resistant

The powder coat handles humidity better than a painted finish. Give it an indoor wall away from a bathroom or a kitchen extractor.

Choose your size and finish

One size, and the finish is the rest of the decision. Tape the outline on the wall first — it is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

This verse marks the literal and symbolic victory of monotheism. When the Prophet (PBUH) entered Mecca, he recited these words while pointing his staff at the idols, which fell one by one. It represents the inherent fragility of evil; when Truth (Al-Haqq) is firmly established, falsehood has no choice but to vanish.

While many protection duas (like the 3 Quls) focus on shielding the self, this verse focuses on the active displacement of evil. It is a 'conquering' verse. Displaying it isn't just about passive protection; it's about establishing a space where only Truth and righteousness are permitted to dwell.

It acts as a spiritual 'gatekeeper.' Placing it at the entrance of a home or office sets a psychological boundary. It reminds both the inhabitants and visitors that this is a space dedicated to Truth, helping to filter out negative intentions and providing an immediate sense of Divine security.

This design typically utilizes a bold, sharp 'Thuluth' script. The vertical lines are elongated to represent the unwavering nature of 'Al-Haqq' (The Truth). The composition is balanced to create a visual 'weight' that feels grounded and authoritative, mirroring the strength of the message.

The piece is from high-grade material and mounted with specialized spacers that hold it about 1.5 cm away from the wall. This creates a physical 'gap.' As the light in your room shifts, the calligraphy casts moving shadows, giving the sacred text a tangible, sculptural presence that changes throughout the day.

Yes. We use a professional electrostatic powder-coating, tempered glass or acrylic overlay. These creates an anti-tarnish and moisture-resistant barrier, ensuring the brushed gold, silver, or matte black finish remains pristine without any risk of rust or peeling.

Maintenance is intentionally effortless. Because the surface is non-porous and treated with a protective layer, a simple dusting with a dry, soft microfiber cloth once a month is all that is needed. We recommend avoiding any chemical sprays or wet wipes to preserve the integrity of the specialized UV-resistant finish.

In a professional context, this verse represents integrity and the triumph of honest work over deceptive practices. It is a prestigious gift for an entrepreneur or executive because it offers a permanent source of spiritual grounding and a reminder that true success is only found in Al-Haqq.

No. The engineering is completely seamless. Each design features an integrated hanging bracket on the reverse side. This allows the piece to be mounted securely with a single nail or screw while keeping all hardware almost invisible except for the screw spacers, ensuring the visual focus stays 100% on the elegant calligraphy.

Our master designers in Turkey verify every 'harakat' (vowel mark) and diacritical point to ensure 100% theological accuracy. We bridge centuries of Ottoman script traditions with modern laser-cutting precision, delivering a piece that is as spiritually sound as it is artistically superior.

The screws in the metal wall art are for the hanging bracket on the back and for the blind feet to provide a 3D view. Never attempt to remove them.
