First Kalima with Al-Qasas 24

Two narrow columns of open-cut script

The First Kalima and Surah Al-Qasas 24 cut as a matching pair of columns, 13 cm wide by 50 cm tall or 25 by 99 cm, standing 1.5 cm clear of the wall.

Three decisions before it ships

  1. Size

    Two sizes per column — 13 × 50 cm or 25 × 99 cm — drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Finish

Four colors across two surfaces: black, gold, silver or copper, in a polished or a powder-coated finish.

  3. Hanging

Two columns, so the gap between them is the decision. Each hangs from a single nail through the bracket on the back.

What is written on it

The declaration, and the dua of Musa

The Kalima on the left and Al-Qasas 24 on the right — the declaration of faith beside the dua Musa made when he had nothing. Both are cut as open script with no board behind them.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ

“There is no God but Allah (SWT), Muhammad (PBUH) is the Messenger of Allah(SWT)”

The First Kalima, and Surah Al-Qasas 28:24

Size & scale

A column is judged on its drop and on the gap

Each column is close to four times taller than it is wide, so the pair suits a narrow vertical space a horizontal piece never fits. Both columns are drawn below at true scale, a finger-width apart, with the smaller size nested inside the right-hand one.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high · pieces drawn 2.5 cm apart XL · 25 × 99 cm each 9.9 × 39 in L · 13 × 50 cm each 5.2 × 19.7 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
L5.2 × 19.7″13 × 50 cmEither side of a doorway, or a narrow hallway wall
XL9.9 × 39″25 × 99 cmA tall living-room wall or a stairwell — the size most chosen

Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest.

Craft

Open-cut script, no board behind it

Each column is the calligraphy itself, cut at 1.5 mm with nothing behind it, so the wall becomes the background and the letterforms hold the shape on their own. Mounted 1.5 cm proud, each carries its own shadow down the wall.

  • The script cut as the whole object, with no backing panel
  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • Shiny finishes are brushed along the grain, then electropolished
  • Matte finishes are an electrostatic powder coat, baked on

Which process to pick. The shiny finishes are polished on real metal, so the reflection has depth a coating cannot imitate, and each piece carries its own character in the surface. The matte finishes are a baked powder coat, harder than sprayed paint and slower to yellow.

Hanging it

Two columns, one shared gap

A pair of narrow verticals reads as one piece when the tops align and the gap is even. Mark a plumb line for each rather than measuring in from a corner.

  1. Mark the center, not the top

Pencil a point about 150 cm up from the floor. On a tall, narrow piece a center that sits right forgives a top edge that does not.

  2. Tape the outline first

Painter's tape to the full width and height lets you check the position from across the room before you make a hole.

  3. Set one nail and hang

One nail carries it through the bracket on the back. Hook it on, level it by eye, then walk to the far side of the room to confirm.

  • Mounting bracket already fitted to the back
  • Assembly tools included
  • Packed with corner protection for transit

Where it goes

The spaces a column pair suits

The prayer corner

The wall you face when you lay out the mat, at standing eye level rather than above it.

A hallway or landing

It reads on the way past, on a wall people walk by rather than sit in front of.

Above a console

A main living-room wall, centered on the furniture beneath rather than on the wall as a whole.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Shiny: along the grain

A soft, dry microfibre cloth moving in the direction of the brushing. Lift the piece by its edges when you move it.

Matte: dry cloth only

A baked powder coat is harder than sprayed paint and takes dusting well. Nothing abrasive.

Both: away from damp

An indoor piece. Keep it off bathroom walls and away from a kitchen extractor.

Choose your size and finish

Two sizes, and the finish is the rest of the decision. Tape the outline on the wall first — it is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

This set balances the foundation of faith (Tawheed) with the beautiful humility of Prophet Musa’s (AS) prayer. While the Kalima declares Allah’s Oneness, the verse from Al-Qasas is the ultimate plea for Divine assistance, reminding us that we are always in need of Allah’s "Khayr" (Goodness) in our lives.

Prophet Musa (AS) made this du’a when he was a stranger in a new land, exhausted and in need. It is a prayer that attracts blessings, new beginnings, and Divine provision. Displaying it creates an atmosphere of hope and trust that Allah will provide exactly what is needed at the right time.

The declaration "La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah" is the heartbeat of a Muslim. Having it prominently displayed in a vertical, elegant format serves as a constant reminder of our ultimate purpose, grounding the household in peace and conviction every time they walk by.

The vertical orientation symbolizes an "upward connection" between the believer and the Creator. It draws the eye upward, creating a sense of grandeur and spiritual height. It’s an ideal choice for narrow walls or flanking a doorway, turning architectural transitions into moments of reflection.

Whether it is for a new job, a new home, or a new marriage, this set is a perfect "Mubarak" gift. It combines the strength of faith with a prayer for success and sustenance, making it a deeply thoughtful gesture for anyone seeking Allah's guidance and bounty in a new phase of life.

These pieces are crafted with a 6 mm MDF wood base, topped with a 1.2 mm premium shiny gold or silver acrylic layer; as well, metal ones are crafted with 1.5mm/2mm premium quality metal coated with powder painting or shiny coatings.

The high-gloss acrylic finish acts like a mirror, catching and reflecting the ambient light in your room. During the day, it reflects natural sunlight, and in the evening, it glows under warm indoor lighting, ensuring the sacred verses remain the luminous focal point of your decor.

Yes. Each column is designed to be lightweight despite its size. They come with a specialized hidden hanging system on the back. You only need a single nail or screw per piece, and once mounted, the hardware is almost invisible, maintaining a sleek and professional look.

To keep the acrylic surfaces looking pristine, simply use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. We strictly advise against using water, chemical cleaners, or abrasive materials, as the dry-cloth method is the best way to preserve the mirror-like luster for many years.

While they are designed as a balanced "Two-Column Set," they are completely separate pieces. This gives you the flexibility to hang them side-by-side, on opposite sides of a hallway, or even in different rooms depending on your home's layout.

The screws in the metal wall art are for the hanging bracket on the back and for the blind feet to provide a 3D view. Never attempt to remove them.
