The four Quls, Kufic, squared

The same four surahs, on a square rather than a disc

The four Quls, Kufic, squared, struck in 925 sterling silver at 2.5 × 2.5 cm and finished either in 18K gold plating or left as silver. It weighs 6 g without the chain.

Four decisions before it ships

  1. Chain length

Five lengths, 35 to 55 cm. Half of any extra length becomes extra drop.

  2. Size

Made in one size, 2.5 × 2.5 cm, drawn to scale against a bank card below.

  3. Finish

Two finishes — gold or silver.

  4. Wearing it

It comes boxed and ready to give. Put it on after perfume and hand cream, and take it off for water.

What is written on it

What is written on it

The Arabic is set out below with its meaning, so what is on the pendant can be read rather than only recognized.

“Say, 'O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship, nor do you worship what I worship. And I will not worship what you have worshiped, nor will you worship what I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.'”

One size, 2.5 × 2.5 cm. It is drawn below at true scale beside a bank card, which is the only object everyone reading this can hold up against the screen.

One size1 × 1″2.5 × 2.5 cmEveryday wear — small enough for a collar, large enough to be read close up

Measure it against a bank card. A pendant in a photograph is always the size of the photograph. The card in the drawing is 8.6 cm across, which is the one object everyone reading this has in a pocket — hold one up and the pendant is the fraction of it shown here.

The chain

Which length to pick

Five chain lengths, all of them the same 925 silver as the pendant. They are drawn below at the heights they hang at, relative to each other, with the pendant at true size on each.

Each step down is half the extra chain — 5 cm more chain, 2.5 cm lower. 35 cm 14 in 40 cm 16 in 45 cm 18 in 50 cm 20 in 55 cm 22 in
ChainLengthDrop vs. the shortestHow it falls
14″35 cm—The shortest of the five — the pendant sits highest
16″40 cm2.5 cm lowerOne small step down from the shortest
18″45 cm5 cm lowerThe middle of the range, half way between the two ends
20″50 cm7.5 cm lowerLong enough to clear a collar rather than sit on it
22″55 cm10 cm lowerThe longest — it hangs over a high neckline, or layers under a shorter chain

A chain is measured all the way round. The number is the whole loop, not the drop — so half of any extra length becomes extra drop, and the longest chain here carries the pendant 10 cm lower than the shortest does. Caught between two, take the longer one: it clears a collar and a higher neckline, where a short chain has nowhere to go.

Craft

Silver first, gold on top of it

The pendant is 925 sterling silver. The gold version is that same pendant with 18K gold plated over it, so both weigh the same and both put sterling silver against the skin.

  • 925 sterling silver, hypoallergenic, in the pendant and in the chain
  • A 925 sterling silver body — the same pendant underneath in both finishes
  • The gold is 18K plating laid over that silver, not a different metal
  • Hypoallergenic: what sits against the skin is sterling silver either way
  • The chain is the same 925 silver, finished to match the pendant

What "gold" means on this piece. Both finishes are the same 925 sterling silver pendant. The gold one is plated in 18K gold over that silver, which is why the two weigh the same and sit the same against the skin — the choice is a tone, not a different material.

Finishes

The finishes

The same 925 silver pendant in both. The gold one is plated in 18K gold over that silver, which is why the two weigh the same and wear the same against the skin.

Warm and bright, and the one that reads best against off-white and cream walls.

Cool and quiet, and the easiest to place in a room that already has chrome or glass in it.

Using it

The first wear

A necklace is judged in the first week. Three habits decide whether a plated finish still looks new in a year.

  1. Work the clasp once, in your hand

Open and close it before the first wear. A clasp is easy to judge between your fingers and hard to judge behind your neck.

  2. Put it on last

After perfume, hairspray and hand cream. Those sit on the surface, and a plated finish is a surface — this one habit does more than any polish.

  3. Take it off for water and for sleep

Washing, swimming, the shower, the night. Silver survives all four; the point is that it does not have to.

  • Packed for transit

Where it lives

When to wear it, and when not to

Where not to wear it

A piece carrying the name of Allah or a verse is not taken into a bathroom or a toilet. Most people take it off and leave it with their watch, which is the practical reason these are made to come on and off easily.

Worn every day, not kept for occasions

Sterling silver and a plated finish both do better being worn than being left in a drawer. Skin keeps silver moving; still air is what darkens it.

Given as it arrives

It comes boxed, which is most of why these are bought — an Eid gift, a graduation, a first Ramadan. Nothing to wrap and nothing to size.

Care

Keeping the finish

On last, off first

Perfume, hairspray and hand cream all sit on the surface. Put it on after them and take it off before washing, swimming or sleeping.

No polish and no dips on the gold

Plating is a surface, and a polishing cloth or a silver dip takes it off. A soft dry cloth is the whole routine; save the polish for a plain silver piece.

Store it dry and closed

Air is what darkens silver. A pouch or a closed box, away from the bathroom, keeps it as it arrived for far longer than a dish on a shelf.

Pick yours

One size, one construction, five chain lengths. The finish is a tone rather than a different metal — what sits against the skin is 925 silver either way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hanging Quranic verses like the 4 Quls is entirely permissible and encouraged in Islamic tradition as a means of remembrance (Dhikr) and protection. These verses serve as a constant visual reminder of Allah's oneness and power, helping to keep the heart connected to the Divine. Scholars from major institutions often cite that such displays are beneficial as long as the verses are treated with the utmost respect and are not used as mere amulets with superstitious beliefs.

This combination represents a powerful "spiritual shield" for the home. Surah Al-Kafirun affirms pure monotheism, Surah Al-Ikhlas defines Allah's nature, and Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas seek refuge from external and internal evils. When paired with Ayatul Kursi, which is known as the most powerful verse in the Quran for protection, this collection creates a sanctuary of peace and divine guardianship within your living space.

The most respectful placement is in a clean, elevated area where the verses can be easily seen and read. Common locations include the living room, entryway, or a dedicated prayer space. It is highly recommended to avoid hanging them in bathrooms or low areas where they might be touched by feet. Placing them facing the Qibla or in a central gathering area ensures they serve their purpose as a focal point for remembrance.

No, it is not disrespectful provided the intention is for Dhikr and honoring the word of Allah. Our art is designed with deep reverence for the scriptural content, using high-quality materials to reflect the beauty of the message. The goal is to elevate the atmosphere of a Muslim home and inspire the inhabitants to recite these verses daily.

Electro-coating is a premium industrial process where the finish is bonded to the metal via an electric current. Unlike standard paint or polished stainless steel, this creates a uniform, durable, and rust-resistant layer that will not peel or flake over time. It provides a rich, matte or glossy texture that enhances the intricate Arabic calligraphy, ensuring the art remains pristine for decades.

Our finishes are specifically engineered to resist fading and oxidation. Because our production in Turkey utilizes advanced coating technologies, the gold and silver tones remain vibrant even in humid environments. Unlike cheap alternatives that use spray paint, our premium finishes are designed to withstand the test of time without losing their luster.

You should handle the art with wudu (ritual purity) as a sign of respect, though it is not strictly required for metal or wood art without direct contact with the mushaf. Wrap each piece in a clean, soft cloth or bubble wrap to prevent scratching. Always ensure the art is placed at the top of your moving boxes so that no other objects are resting above the word of Allah.

Metal art requires a specialized 5 to 6 day production window to ensure the laser cutting and electro-coating meet our quality standards. Once your piece passes inspection in Turkey, shipping takes approximately 3 to 5 business days. You can typically expect this sacred addition to your home within two weeks of placing your order.

Absolutely. Hanging the 4 Quls and Ayatul Kursi in a child's room is a beautiful way to introduce them to the concept of seeking refuge in Allah from a young age. It serves as a visual comfort and a prompt for parents to recite the evening Adhkar with their children, fostering a home environment filled with Barakah and light.

The choice depends on your aesthetic and timeline. Our wood pieces offer a warm, traditional feel and have a faster production time of 2 to 3 days. Our metal pieces provide a modern, sleek look with high durability and a three-dimensional effect when hung. Both options are crafted with the same expert precision and devotion to calligraphic accuracy.

The Islamic jewelry pieces are crafted from high-quality materials such as 18K gold-plated silver, ensuring both durability and elegance. These materials make the jewelry suitable for daily wear, allowing you to incorporate meaningful designs into your everyday attire.

Yes, the jewelry is designed to be hypoallergenic. The use of 18K gold-plated silver minimizes the risk of skin irritation, making them safe for individuals with sensitive skin. However, if you have specific allergies, it's advisable to consult with the store or a medical professional before making a purchase.

Absolutely. Each jewelry item is presented in elegant packaging, making it an ideal gift for special occasions such as Eid, Ramadan, weddings, or personal milestones. The thoughtful presentation enhances the gifting experience, reflecting the significance of the piece.

The Islamic Wall Art Store offers a 30-day return policy. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the item in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of receipt. Please note that custom or personalized items may not be eligible for return. For more details, refer to their Returns & Refunds page.
