Dua When Leaving Home - Islamic Wall Art | Elegant Glass Decor

The Dua for entering the home acknowledges Allah’s role as the Provider of our shelter, while the Dua for leaving (Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'ala Allah) is a powerful act of 'Tawakkul' (reliance). According to the Prophet (PBUH), whoever says the leaving Dua is told by angels, 'You have been guided, sufficed, and protected,' and Shaytan is distanced from them.

The entryway is the most logical and respectful location. Ideally, they should be hung at eye level or higher on the wall immediately next to or above your front door. This ensures that the reminder is seen exactly when it is needed. Always ensure they are placed in a clean area, away from shoe racks if possible, to honor the sacred text.

No. Because entryways often experience drafts or humidity from the outdoors, we recommend our metal art for this location. The industrial-grade electro-coating process we use in Turkey creates a chemical bond that protects the piece against moisture and temperature changes, ensuring the finish never peels or tarnishes.

Entryways are high-traffic zones where things might be bumped or touched frequently. Our metal art is incredibly resilient and easy to clean with a dry cloth. It also allows for much finer, more elegant calligraphy in the 'Thuluth' or 'Kufic' styles, which creates a stunning first impression for guests entering your home.

We take this responsibility seriously as a trust (Amanah). Our expert calligraphers in Turkey cross-reference every letter and vowel mark with authentic Hadith collections and sources. We ensure the script is legible and accurate, so your home is blessed with the correct words of the Prophet (PBUH).

Yes, many customers prefer to hang them on opposite sides of the door—the leaving Dua on the side you face as you exit, and the entering Dua on the side you face as you return. This layout reinforces the habit of recitation. We offer them in matching finishes (Gold, Silver, Black) to ensure your home's aesthetic remains cohesive.

Since entryways can be dustier than other rooms, we recommend a gentle weekly cleaning. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to whisk away dust. Avoid using water or any chemical sprays, as they are unnecessary and could eventually affect the electro-coated luster. Treating the maintenance with 'Adab' turns it into a small act of devotion.

We offer several sizes to accommodate different foyer layouts. Our 'Small' and 'Medium' metal pieces are perfect for narrow sections of wall next to a door frame. If space is very tight, we also have vertical designs that stack the calligraphy beautifully, allowing you to display the full prayer without cluttering your space.

It is perhaps the most practical and thoughtful gift you can give for a new home. By gifting these Duas, you are helping a family establish a routine of remembrance and protection. In Islamic culture, this is considered 'Sadaqah Jariyah' (ongoing charity), as you share in the reward every time the prayers are recited.

With over countless orders delivered, we have perfected our shipping. After production, we use express shipping to reach you in 3-5 business days. Our 24/7 expert support team is always available to track your piece and ensure it arrives safely to begin blessing your home.

Tempered glass is moisture-resistant, but the artwork or ink used may not be waterproof. It's best to keep the art indoors and away from direct exposure to rain or high humidity. If used in bathrooms, ensure it's in a well-ventilated area and securely mounted.

While tempered glass itself resists UV damage, the printed artwork may gradually fade if exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. For longevity, it's recommended to place your wall art away from harsh, direct sunlight or use UV-protective window films.

Use a soft microfiber cloth and a mild glass cleaner. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth (not directly onto the glass) and gently wipe the surface. Avoid abrasive materials or strong chemicals, as they may scratch the glass or damage the artwork's finish.

Yes, tempered glass is significantly stronger and safer than regular glass. It is heat-resistant and designed to shatter into small, less dangerous pieces if broken. This makes it safe for use in various rooms, including kitchens and even children's rooms—though proper installation is essential.
