Mashallah

One word, set as a vertical

Mashallah cut from 1.5 mm metal and standing 1.5 cm clear of the wall, in two sizes — 35 × 70 cm or 50 × 100 cm.

Three decisions before it ships

  1. Size

    Two sizes — 35 × 70 cm or 50 × 100 cm — drawn to scale against a sofa below.

  2. Finish

Four finishes — black, silver, gold or copper.

  3. Hanging

One nail through the bracket already fitted to the back. It arrives ready to hang.

What is written on it

What the word carries

The word said on seeing something good — a child, a home, a piece of news — and the reason it so often goes up in a house that has just been finished.

ما شاء الله لا قوة إلا بالله

“What Allah wills [has occurred]; there is no power except with Allah.”

Mashallah

Size & scale

A vertical is judged on its drop

Both sizes are twice as tall as they are wide, so this carries a narrow wall a horizontal piece never fits. Drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa.

Three-seat sofa · 200 cm (79 in) wide, 82 cm (32 in) high L · 50 × 100 cm 19.7 × 39.4 in M · 35 × 70 cm 13.8 × 27.6 in
SizeWidth × height (in)Width × height (cm)Best for
M13.8 × 27.6″35 × 70 cmA hallway, a landing, or beside a doorway
L19.7 × 39.4″50 × 100 cmA main living-room wall — the size most chosen

Mark it before you choose. Run painter's tape on the wall to the outer width and height, then stand back to where you normally sit and look at it from there. On a tall piece, hang it with its middle around 150 cm from the floor and the drop does the rest.

Materials

What it is made of

Material
Metal1.5 mm sheet
Wall standoff
1.5 cm3D mounted, casts a shadow
Finishing
Powder coatElectrostatic, baked on

Craft

The depth is structural, not printed

The word is cut clean through the sheet, so the wall color runs inside the letterforms. Mounted 1.5 cm proud, it carries its own shadow.

  • One word, cut clean through the sheet
  • Letterforms cut clean through, so the wall color becomes part of the artwork
  • Electrostatic powder coating, baked on for a hard, even surface
  • Cut edges left clean through the fine strokes of the script

A coating that is baked, not sprayed. Powder is applied electrostatically and then cured, which gives a harder and more even surface than a sprayed paint.

Finishes

The finishes

Four finishes in a matte electrostatic powder paint. Black reads hardest against a pale wall; silver, gold and copper each pick up the light differently.

Mashallah vertical metal wall art in black

Black

The sharpest contrast of the set against a pale wall, and the one that reads most clearly from across a room.

Mashallah vertical metal wall art in gold

Gold

Warm and bright, and the one that reads best against off-white and cream walls.

Mashallah vertical metal wall art in silver

Silver

Cool and quiet, and the easiest to place in a room that already has chrome or glass in it.

Mashallah vertical metal wall art in copper

Copper

The warmest of the set, and the one that reads best against green, clay or deep neutral walls.

Hanging it

One nail, on the center line

A tall piece is read from its middle, not its top edge. Mark the center about 150 cm from the floor and hang to that.

  1. Mark the center, not the top

Pencil a point about 150 cm up from the floor. On a tall, narrow piece a center that sits right forgives a top edge that does not.

  2. Tape the outline first

Painter's tape to the full width and height lets you check the position from across the room before you make a hole.

  3. Set one nail and hang

One nail carries it through the bracket on the back. Hook it on, level it by eye, then walk to the far side of the room to confirm.

Where it goes

The walls a vertical suits

By the front door

The wall you pass on the way in and out, which is where a dua about entering and leaving belongs.

Above a console

A long, low piece spans a hallway console without crowding the ceiling above it.

Dining and living walls

It carries a wide wall on its own, and leaves the room feeling open because the wall reads through the script.

Care

Keeping it as it arrived

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth along the length of the script. A baked powder coat is harder than sprayed paint and takes dusting well.

No solvents

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will dull a powder-painted surface. If a mark will not lift dry, use a barely damp cloth and dry it at once.

Away from damp

An indoor piece. Keep it off bathroom walls and away from a kitchen extractor.

Choose your size and finish

Two sizes, and the finish is the rest of the decision. Tape the outline on the wall first — it is the only measurement that matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mashallah' is a profound declaration of faith that attributes all goodness and beauty to Allah’s will. Displaying it in your home serves as a constant reminder to be grateful for your blessings and to recognize that everything we possess is a gift from the Divine.

Yes. In Islamic tradition, saying 'Mashallah' when seeing something pleasing is a beautiful practice (Sunnah) that helps prevent the 'Evil Eye' (Ayn) by centering the blessing on Allah rather than the object itself. It transforms your decor into a functional tool for spiritual protection.

Our designs feature elegant Arabic calligraphy that balances traditional sacred scripts with a modern, clean aesthetic. The flow of the letters is carefully designed to be both legible and visually harmonious, ensuring that these sacred words serve as a sophisticated focal point in any room.

We utilize a premium multi-layered 3D technique that adds physical depth to the calligraphy. This allows the sacred text to stand out from the surface, creating a striking visual impact where the script catches ambient light and creates beautiful shadows throughout the day.

We apply high-quality, specialized finishes that provide a lustrous and reflective appearance. These finishes are engineered to be resistant to environmental wear, ensuring that the elegant colors and textures remain vibrant without fading or tarnishing over time.

Because it is a phrase of appreciation and protection, it is ideally placed in entryways, living rooms, or over a fireplace where it is easily seen by both family and guests. It should be hung in a clean, prominent, and elevated position to show proper respect for the sacred message.

To keep the piece looking pristine, simply use a dry, soft microfiber cloth to gently remove dust. We recommend avoiding moisture or harsh cleaning chemicals to protect the integrity of the premium finish and the intricate details of the layered calligraphy.

It is an exceptionally thoughtful gift. Since 'Mashallah' celebrates and protects new blessings, it is the traditional choice for a new home, a new marriage, or the arrival of a child, offering the recipient a permanent source of Barakah (blessing) and spiritual peace.

The decor comes ready to hang with a secure and discreet attachment system on the back. It is designed for simple and safe installation, allowing you to display this sacred treasure securely while keeping the visual focus entirely on the craftsmanship.

Absolutely. Every piece is designed by our expert team in Turkey and thoroughly reviewed for calligraphic accuracy. We ensure that every vowel and letter is represented correctly, bridging traditional reverence with modern design precision.

The screws in the metal wall art are for the hanging bracket on the back and for the blind feet to provide a 3D view. Never attempt to remove them.

Metal products can be used outdoors, but are not recommended for direct rain, moisture or sunlight.

Yes, it can be done. First, confirm with customer service whether this is possible. If our designer approves, you will receive a custom order payment link.

Our products are made by hand, using labor-intensive techniques. Some minor defects are within the limits, and we indicate this in the listing details. If you detect a defect that exceeds the limits, contact customer service.

It will not darken unless exposed to moisture in normal indoor environments. We do not recommend protecting it from moisture or exposure to rain or direct sunlight outdoors.

We do not recommend any chemical products. You can remove dust with a slightly damp cloth.
