  • Übersetzung von Ayatul Kursi:

"Allah! Es gibt keine Gottheit außer Ihm, dem Ewiglebenden, dem Erhalter [aller] Existenz. Ihn überkommt weder Schläfrigkeit noch Schlaf. Ihm gehört, was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist. Wer ist es, der bei Ihm Fürsprache einlegen kann, außer mit Seiner Erlaubnis? Er weiß, was [derzeit] vor ihnen liegt und was nach ihnen sein wird, und sie umfassen nichts von Seinem Wissen, außer was Er will. Sein Kursi erstreckt sich über die Himmel und die Erde, und ihre Bewahrung ermüdet Ihn nicht. Und Er ist der Allerhöchste, der Größte."

„Sprich: Ich suche Zuflucht beim Herrn der Morgendämmerung vor dem Bösen dessen, was Er erschaffen hat, und vor dem Bösen der Dunkelheit, wenn sie sich niederlässt, und vor dem Bösen der Weher in Knoten und vor dem Bösen eines Neiders, wenn er neidisch ist.“

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ

„Sprich: Ich suche Zuflucht beim Herrn der Menschheit, dem Herrscher der Menschheit, dem Gott der Menschheit, vor dem Bösen des Flüsterers [der sich zurückzieht], der in die Brust der Menschheit flüstert, vor den Dschinn und der Menschheit.“

“Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”

Each panel is 6 mm MDF, and the gold and silver calligraphy is a 1.2 mm acrylic face layered over it — 7 mm in total. The script sits forward of the board, so it catches light the board does not.
