The ninety-nine Names of Allah and the Names of the Prophet Muhammad, each set into a pomegranate-seed pattern and cut from 1.5 mm steel with the color printed onto the metal. Three sizes, 47 to 90 cm across.

Neither piece has a straight edge to sit against the wall, so both take more of the eye than their width suggests. The pair is drawn below at true scale above a three-seat sofa, a finger-width apart, with the smaller sizes nested inside the right-hand piece.

Tape both diameters first. Run painter's tape to the full width of the pair with the gap you intend, then look at it from where you normally sit. Hang the centers around 150 cm from the floor and the circles settle themselves.

The Names are held in a pomegranate-seed pattern, each one in its own cell, cut clean through the steel so the wall color shows between them. The color is printed onto the metal rather than sprayed over it.

Hanging it

Center each, then the gap

Round pieces have no top edge to level against, so the two measurements that matter are the center heights and the space between them.

Find the center, not the top

A circle has no top edge to level against, so mark the center point on the wall — about 150 cm up — and hang to that.
Tape the diameter first

Painter's tape across the full width shows how much wall it will take. A circle reads larger than a rectangle of the same width.
Hang and step back

Hook it on, then walk to the far side of the room. A circle sitting slightly off-center shows more than a rectangle hung slightly crooked.

Dry cloth only

A soft, dry cloth along the length of the script. Lift the piece by its edges when you move it.

No cleaners

Alcohol, glass cleaner and polish will cut into a printed surface. A barely damp cloth, dried straight away, lifts anything a dry cloth will not.

Away from damp

An indoor piece. Keep it off bathroom walls and away from a kitchen extractor.

Sizes to suit the wall, and the finish is the rest of the decision. Tape the diameter first — it is the only measurement that matters.
